The ceremony began and I stood in a line with the other chosen Champions while Zelda stood in the middle in front of us. The other Champions and I were now wearing our own blue garbs. Mine was like Link's but replaced with a Bow and Arrow to symbol my Master Bow. I stood between Link and Mipha as we looked up to see King Rhoam staring down at us with a serious gaze. King Rhoam says down to us, "Welcome, warriors! I'd like to thank you for joining me here today, and for your bravery in accepting this...fateful task."
I placed and held my hands behind my back in respect as he added, "I officially appoint you Hyrule's Champions and bestow upon you this sacred garb. That blue is a symbol of the Royal Family, one that has been passed down for countless generations. Those garments you now wear were all crafted by my daughter, Zelda." He looked down towards Zelda and said, "Zelda. I trust you with the task only a daughter of the royal family can fulfill. Lead our Champions, Princess. And together, protect our kingdom from the threat of Calamity Ganon." The crowd of guards behind us cheered and clapped as heard a few fireworks go off outside the castle. I smiled and saw Revali look towards me with a smile before giving a nod. I give a nod in return and smiled to him back.
Later at sunset...
Zelda and all of us Champions stood at the castle's garden after the ceremony was finally over. I stood next to Link and Daruk as I smiled at them. Daruk grunted a little as he rolled his shoulder while his arm went around a bit before he said to Link and I after popping his neck causing it to make a funny popping sound, "I tell ya, those formal shindigs really take it outta me." I chuckled a little and said smiling at him, "Yeah. At least that formal ceremony was finally over and it can get a little tiring after." Link nodded in agreement with a smile and Daruk gives me a funny amused frown making me shrug.
Revali said before taking the Sheikah Slate out of Zelda's hands, "Hmph. This is the Sheikah Slate, eh?" Revali looks it over with one wing as Zelda said, "It is. Apparently there are more uses for it than we originally thought. Sadly, we're yet to decipher all of its secrets." Revali hands it over to Mipha and she gently holds it on her two hands carefully while she looked down at it. Urbosa bends down a little and said to Mipha with a smile, "The princess showed me something strange recently. Somehow it can create true-to-life images." "Oh, wow. I would love to see it.", Mipha said softly with a awe and fascinated smile.
She looked towards Zelda and asked shyly before looking at Link and I at the end, "Um, Princess...May I ask a special favor of you?" The group looked towards us before Daruk and I gave each other curious plus confused looks before looking back at Mipha.
(3rd's p.o.v.)
Moment or two later...
A young woman's voice cheerfully says, "All right! This spot should work nicely." The Sheikah Slate's camera opens up to reveal Zelda and all of the Champions getting ready for a group picture as they all stood closely together. The woman says to them with the same tone, "Keep your eyes on the Sheikah Slate, everyone!" (Y/N) stood between Revali and Zelda while standing in front of Urbosa (Since Urbosa is pretty tall). Daruk stood tall and his height caused the camera to not be able to get his face with everyone else.
"Daruk, can you crouch down a bit? You're as big as Death Mountain.", the woman says. Daruk looked at her confused a little and (Y/N) looked up at him as Urbosa and Link did so as well before she giggled while motioning him to crouch down. "Oh.", Daruk said getting it and crouched down a little. The woman said noticing Zelda's glum look, "What's with the glum face, Princess? Gimme a big smile!" Urbosa places a hand on Zelda's back gently while looking down at her and Zelda asked looking up at her, "Huh?" Urbosa gives her an reassuring and encouraging look.
(Y/N) looked towards Zelda and gave her a smile causing Zelda to smile before the two looked towards the Sheikah Slate. Revali sighs impatiently and annoyed while looking at the other direction. The woman says causing him to look towards her, "Revali, move your tail closer to the group." Daruk gives him a smirk a little while (Y/N) gives Revali a soft smile as she motions him to stand closer and Revali said annoyed moving over closer to the group plus next to (Y/N), "Ugh, fine." "Mipha, you look so tense. Deep breaths, OK?", the woman says causing Link, Daruk, Revali, and (Y/N) to look over towards Mipha.
Mipha gives a nod and said, "Right!" She placed her two hands on her chest and started taking a few deep breaths before standing straight again. The woman said cheerfully noticing (Y/N) shifting a bit with one hand on her other arm, "(Y/N), try to relax and enjoy yourself!" "Oh, sorry.", (Y/N) says a little embarrassed before placing her hand off her arm while trying to look more relaxed. Revali gently grabs her hand and held it in his wing causing her to look up at him.
He gives her a reassuring and soft smile towards her making her to smile back as she held his back. They all looked towards the Sheikah Slate when the woman says to them while zooming in to get ready to take the picture, "Stay just like that! Here we go! Smiiiile..." Zelda and (Y/N) started to smile for the picture before the woman says, "Click, snap!" Daruk smirked as he suddenly brought his arms around the others and the camera took the picture. In the picture, Daruk held his smirk while Revali and Mipha were about to fall over with a funny look on their faces.
Link and Zelda were giving Revali surprised looks while Urbosa looked at them with an amused smile. The right side of (Y/N)'s face was pressed against Revali's left cheek with her right eye closed and left eye opened while giving a laughing smile as she looked towards Revali.
