Chapter 7

We were still running so we could get away from the cons and saw Sam slid across the car roof to keep going before he said to us, "Come on." As we ran through the ruins, I noticed not seeing anymore cons which it didn't feel right. I turned to look at Sam and said as I transformed into my Cybertronian form, "Sam, I'm going to scout the area a little. I'll be sure to stay close by in case you run into trouble." They looked up at me and Sam said, "Alright. Just make sure you stay close by like you said." I nodded and ran off as they started to run again. I looked around the ruins and saw no sign of any Decepticons nearby. Then, I heard something like a jet and looked up to see Starscream in his Alt-mode flying in the sky then he turned to the other direction. 'Oh no, I think he had spotted Sam and Mikala! I better get back to them, fast!', I thought. I transformed into my dragon form and started to fly in the air to try to find them before Starscream does. From above, I saw some construction vehicle with Rampage inside and knew it was a Deception but, it seemed to be waiting for Sam. Rampage got out of the vehicle and ran across in front of the vehicle before...I saw Sam's parents pop out from inside the vehicle and onto the ground. "What the?!", I said with optics wide seeing them here. I looked to the other direction to see Sam and Mikala running towards their direction before seeing his parents point at them then started running towards them. I quickly flew down behind some buildings and transformed to bot mode. I leaned my back against the wall and peeked to see the con transformed to bot mode before he jumped and landed in front of Sam to prevent him from reaching to his parents. I quietly gotten between the buildings so Sam could see me as he yelled up to the con while he quickly got up, "Wait, wait!" I heard Ron say to Sam, "Please listen to me! I want you to run! Run!" "Dad, just stop! They don't want you, they want me!", Sam yelled to him. Suddenly the con slammed down part of the gun between them and Sam yelled, "Oh, god! Wait!" "Sam Witwicky.", the con said to him before growling. Sam said while he started to show him the sock that had the remains of the Matrix, "Don't hurt them. This is what you want. You don't want them." Judy then yelled to Sam, "Go! Go!" "Please, stop! Stop!", Sam said to her while looking at the con still. His parents told him to run a couple more times and Sam then turned his head before seeing me. I looked at him with a serious look and gave him a thumbs up with a wink before I started to quietly climb up the building. Sam then said looking back at the con and walked sideways making the con to move as well, "Just don't hurt them. I know what you want. And I know that you need me because I know about the Matrix." The con's back was towards me now as I stood on the building and heard Ron yell, "Don't do it, Sam..." "Please, Dad.", Sam said to him. Ron said, "They're going to kill us all anyway!" I gotten myself ready as Sam said to the con, "Here's what you want, right here." He then looked towards me and yelled, "Nightwing!" I took that as my que and jumped in the air before giving the con a good kick on the face. I punch the Con away before lowering my battle mask. And I hear Sam whisper as he backs away slowly, "Kill him, Night. Kill him." I gave the con a few kicks and dodged from the large ammo from his guns by rolling to the other direction. I then quickly jumped onto his back and grabbed his head before I hit his head with my knee as we fell back down to the ground. Once we hit the ground, I grabbed his arm and snapped it, causing the con to yell out in pain. I then stomped on his same arm really hard and he gets up before we started to battle again. I went to give him a punch but missed and went over to him before giving him a good kick, causing him to fall onto the ground. As I went to finish him off, I felt a few bullets hit me and something jumped on me before trying to claw a lot on my face. "Ahh!", I yelled out in pain as I felt pain from the scratching. I tried to grab what was clawing at me as I yelled, "Get off of me, you piece of rust metal!" I then heard running footsteps and felt the thing getting off of me. I turned around to see it was Bumblebee holding Rampage and rips him apart saying with the radio, "Hands off my girl!" I smiled at him and said, "Thanks, Bee!" "No problem, sweetspark!", he said without the radio. I went over to the humans as Sam said to his parents, "Stay tight, Ma. Come on. Get in here." As Bee went to finish off the bigger con for me, I asked Sam with concerned optics, "Are you alright?" "I'm fine. So are they.", he replied looking up at me. We then turned to see Bee hold both the con's arms back from behind him and kicks his back. The con flies forward with both his arms ripped off from his body and falls onto the ground offline for good. Bee drops the arms and looks over to us as his puts away his battle mask. Sam asked him, "Bee?" "You good?", I asked with a smile. Bee nods as he says feeling pumped up, "Yeah." I laughed a little before I came over and patted him on the shoulder then said, "C'mon, tough guy. We still got to move and get to the soldiers." We then started to run again and Bee went to scout ahead in case there were any Decepticons nearby. Sam then yelled seeing his dad get ahead, "Hey!" "I don't know what's going on, but we've got to move!", Ron yelled over the gunfire. I then yelled down to him, "What's happening, is that you are in the middle of a war with the soldiers and Autobots fighting against the Deceptions! Now let's move it!" Suddenly a blast landed behind us causing us to stumble a bit and I grabbed onto a building to keep my balance. "Move!", I yelled to them as we went to continue on. Ron said, "There's got to be a way out of here!" Another blast landing on the ground nearby causing Ron to fall to the ground and Judy goes to help him up then he gets up saying, "Judy, get back, get back, get back." We then start to move again but, another blast landed not to far behind us almost causing Mikala to fall but kept her balance. Sam then said to them as he carefully helped them stand against the wall, "Against the wall! Against the wall! Against the wall. Against the wall." I walked up to them and said to him, "Sam, your parents won't be safe out here with us and they will slow us down. They need to get away from here." "I know the one who can. *turns his head to the other direction* Bee! Bumblebee!" Bee comes over with his cannon equipped as he looked at the other direction and looks over to him as Sam said to him, "You get them somewhere safe, all right?" Sam turns back to his dad and says, "You've got to get in the car and get to safety." Ron protested saying as he started to struggle against Sam's hold on him, "No, this isn't up for discussion! You're my son!" "I know!", Sam said to him. Ron then yelled, "You're my son!" "Dad...", Sam tried but Ron interrupts yelling, "We all go together!" "Listen...", Sam tried to say again but Ron interrupts once more saying, "We're all going together!" Sam then said to him, "Dad, stop, okay? Get in the car. He's gonna get you to safety. You know, you run. You don't stop, you don't hide, you run. You hear what I'm saying, okay? I'll find you when you're safe." "No.", Ron protested not wanting to leave him. Sam said, "You've got to let me go, Dad. You have to let me go. You have to." They look at each other as Judy said to her husband, "Ron." He didn't say a word and she added, "Ron. Ron, let him go." Ron looks to Judy then to Sam and said letting go of him before heading over to Bee, "You come back! Come on." Bee transformed to his vehicle mode and the two run over to him as Judy said, "Ron! Mikala! Mikala!" Sam turns to Mikala and says, "Go with my parents." "I'm not gonna go without you.", Mikala said. He didn't say anything against her and turns to look at me before saying, "Nightwing, you should go with them." I shook my head and said, "No. This is my mother we are talking about here and I'm going to make sure we BOTH get to her to bring her back." "Fine. Let's go!", Sam said before we started to run off.
