Chapter 2

Zorya's p.o.v.

The door of the plane opens then Optimus and I carefully drove out as Nightwing walks out by us in her dragon mode. We saw Epps and Lennox walk with the other soldiers towards the base with us. Then we heard and announcement saying, "Autobot twins, report to hanger three." The twins drive over to hanger three before one of them said as he drove over before circling the new vehicles for them to scan, "Yeah, baby, it's upgrade time." "Yes, sir! Yeah! Look here, it's my booty call right here!", the other twin said. They then started fighting over a green car that they both want to scan making me sigh while shaking my head before I said, "Nightwing, could you...?" "Yep. I got it.", She replied before she headed over to them. Optimus and I transformed to bot mode then watched Nightwing go up to them. Once she is close enough, she smacks them upside the head with her tail causing them to yelp and stop fighting. We then saw them have their own vehicle modes and drive off towards to the others. Optimus and I transformed back to our vehicle modes and enter the main hanger then he said, "Nightwing, come to the main hanger so we can give our report." "Be right there.", She replied in the comm link. We noticed having a new human in the hanger. He was wearing a suit and glasses. Plus has brown hair. We then hear Lennox say to the general, "We have intel that I believe warrants an immediate debrief. Now with your permission, I can't let you see them, but I would like you to hear from the leaders of the Autobots." "Proceed.", General Morshower replied. Nightwing enters the main hanger and we then both start transforming to bot mode. Once we fully transformed, we turned our heads to see the new human look at us in awe and amazement before we turned back our attention to speak with the general. I heard Epps say to him, "You gotta wonder, if god made us in his image, who made them?" Optimus then said, "General, our alliance has countermanded six incursions this year, each on a different continent." "They're clearly searching around the world for something, but last night's encounter came with a warning.", Nightwing says next. Optimus then replays the recording of what the con partly said, "The Fallen shall rise again!And the Fallen will destroy the goddess!" I cross my arms as I clench my fists and I grit my teeth slightly still feeling uneasy and a bit nervous. I saw Optimus look at me worried and concerned in the corner of my optic. "'The Fallen.' Meaning what?", Morshower asked. Optimus then said, "Origin unknown. The only recorded history of our race was contained in the Allspark and lost with it's destruction." "Excuse me!", the new guy interrupted making us turn to him and he added before started to climb up the steps, "With this so called-Allspark now destroyed, why hasn't the enemy left the planet like you three thought they would?" Nightwing rolls her optics as she looks away and Lennox says to the general, "Director Galloway, our National Security Adviser. The President just appointed him liaison." He then rolls his eyes in annoyance of our new human here. Galloway made his way over as he said, "Forgive the interruption, General. Excuse me. Coming through. Excuse me. Excuse me, soldier." Once he reached the camera, he said, "After all the damage in Shanghai, the President is hard-pressed to say the job's getting done." I heard Nightwing mutter quietly, "You weren't the one risking your life buster." Galloway then said to us, "Now, under the classified Alien/Autobot Cooperation Act, you three agreed to share your intel with us, but not your advancements in weaponry." I then said pointing at him, "We've witnessed your human capacity for war. *Putting my finger down* It would absolutely bring more harm than good." Nightwing nods in agreement and Galloway looks at me as he asked rudely, "But who are you to judge what's best for us?" I noticed Epps walk up and stood by us while looking at Galloway. Nightwing then said as she growled in his face, "Back off my mother bub!" I put a servo on her shoulder to calm her down so she won't lash out and cause trouble. He looked surprised for a second but the look went away as soon he said to her, "Your mother? As if, you don't even look alike." Nightwing looked like she was about to squish him right there but I interrupted so no fight will start, but gave a small glare, "True that we aren't alike but, she IS a daughter to me and a mother figure to HER." He slowly nodded and Lennox said to him, "With all due respect, we've been fighting side by side in the field for two years." Epps then said patting my leg a bit, "We've shed blood, sweat and precious metal together." I smiled a bit at him but, quickly went away when Galloway said down to him, "Soldier, you're paid to shoot, not talk." Epps then muttered looking at me before walking away, "Don't tempt me." I chuckled a bit before muttering to him and look back at Galloway, "Easy." "And the newest members of your team. I understand they arrived here after you three sent a message into space, an open invitation to come to Earth, vetted by no one at the White House.", Galloway said. I went to speak but, Morshower said beating me to it, "Let me stop you right there, Mr. Galloway. It was vetted right here. And in my experience, the judgment of both Major Lennox and his team has always been above reproach." Galloway then said, "Well, be that as it may, General, it is the position of the President that when our national security is at stake, no one is above reproach." I keep my arms crossed before he continued, "Now, what do we know so far? We know that the enemy leader, classified NBE One, aka Megatron Is rusting in peace at the bottom of the Laurentian Abyssal, surrounded by SOSUS detection nets and a full-time submarine surveillance. We also know that the remaining piece of your alien Allspark is locked in an electromagnetic vault here on one of the most secure naval bases in the world." I quietly sighed feeling very annoyed and he said, "And since no one can seem to tell me what the enemy is now after, well, there's only one clear conclusion! You! The Autobots! They're here to hunt you!" I saw Optimus give a little angry look in the corner of my optics as Galloway said, "What's there to hunt for on Earth besides that? "The Fallen shall rise again" and "The Fallen shall destroy the goddess"? It sounds to me like something's coming after you, Zorya." I felt bit of anger inside but kept it low but, I gave a small glare at him then Optimus said glaring a little as well, "We won't let him hurt her." "So, let me ask, if we ultimately conclude that our national security is best served by denying you further asylum on our planet,.....will you leave peacefully?" I then went to say, "Now hold on a sec-" "Freedom is your right. If you make that request, we will honor it.", Optimus cut me off saying. I looked at him with a little surprised look when he said that as Galloway nodded and looked away before Optimus added, "But before your President decides, please ask him this. *Leans towards him to get in his face a tiny bit with a little angry look* What if we leave and YOU'RE wrong?" He then leans back and stood fully up. Nightwing smirks before saying, "And we're not here to protect you from the Cons?" When Galloway went to walk away, Lennox looks to Optimus and whispers, "Those are good questions." We then started to walk out of the main hanger, feeling glad that conversation is over. We stopped just outside the hanger before Optimus asked Nightwing, "Nightwing, could you watch the others?" She smiled before saying, "Sure." Then she left and I asked curiously, "Is something wrong?" He said smiling at me, "No, Zorya. Everything is fine. I...just wanted if I could take you out somewhere?" I smiled back and replied, "Sounds wonderful. I would do anything to get out of this base for awhile." He nodded and said, "Then let's be on our way." Then he transformed to vehicle mode and I followed after before we drove off with me driving behind him so he can lead the way.

We soon arrived at a valley full of green grass that showed the sun setting. I have to admit it, this looked like a beautiful and relaxing place to be away from the stress of the missions we go on. We stopped and transformed to bot mode. Then we stood and turned towards where the sunset is. I smiled and said, "This is a nice and peaceful place to be away from the base. He walked over and stood beside me on my right before he said, "I agree. That's why I wanted to bring you here." What I didn't notice that Optimus went to try to hold my servo but, I turned to him saying making him to pull his servo back before I notice, "I want to thank you for bringing me here, Optimus." "Your welcome, Zorya.", he replied. I turned my attention to the sunset again and failed to see Optimus pick a lily then hid it behind his back. "Zorya?", Optimus asked making me turn to him. He then said before placing a lily in my palm, "This is for you." (Here what it looks like ( ). I smiled and said as I look at the lily, "Thank you, Optimus. It's beautiful." "But, not as beautiful as you.", He said. I blushed a little and he then hugs me close to him. I place my head on his chest with a relaxed smile as we continue to watch the sunset. Optimus then asked softly, "Do you ever wish you have a family, Zorya?" I replied, "Sometimes." he said, "You'll have a family someday." We pulled away but still in his arms as I said, "And I know the bot I want to have a family with." He looked at me curiously as he asked, "Really? And who that might be?" I smirked as I replied, "It's a secret until I am ready to say." He then looked a bit nervous and said, "Zorya, there's something I...I need to tell you..." Optimus was cut off by the beeping of my comm unit and I said, "Sorry. Could I...?" "Go ahead.", He said with a smile. But for some reason, it felt forced but shrugged it off as I answered, "Hello?" "Hey Zorya, it's Mikaela.", Mikaela said in the comm link. I gotten curious why she was calling me, didn't she mentioned yesterday that her and Sam were going to have a web chat date? I then said, "Hi, you need something?" "Well, I was curious if you like to come over tonight so you can be a surprise for Sam since he hasn't seen you in a while.", she replied. I looked towards Optimus in a "Is that alright with you?" kind of look and he nodded yes. I then said, "Sure. I'll be over there as soon as I can." "Cool. See you then!", she said before hanging up. I turned back to Optimus and said before I transformed then drove away, "Well, I got to go. Thank you again, for taking me here. See you later when I get back."

(3rd's p.o.v.)

When Optimus watched her drive off to go visit Mikaela, he looks away saying, "Nice going, Optimus. You had your chance and missed it." Then he transformed and drove back to base while looking forward for Zorya to return back to base.
