Today, I decided to surprise you at your workplace. It felt like the right moment—to see you in your element, to bring a small slice of home into your busy day. But as I approached the building, my excitement was met with an unexpected roadblock.

The guard stopped me at the entrance. His expression was firm, almost apologetic, but his words were absolute. "You're not allowed inside," he said, as though it was nothing personal, as though it didn't cut deeper than I expected.

Confusion swirled in my chest. Why couldn't I come in? Why was I being kept away? It didn't make sense—not to me, not to the moment. As the minutes dragged on, the thought began to gnaw at me: was there something you didn't want me to see?

The questions weighed heavy on my heart, twisting and turning in the silence. Were you hiding something from me? What was going on behind those closed doors?
