i know i finished this a while ago, but i'm here to clear a few things up about how this ended instead of replying to every comment.
the ending of the song hotel california is left very open to interpretation & the listener kind of gets to choose how it ends. i wanted to keep this book true to that.
damon was hit over the head with a shovel but damon is also a vampire.
whether or not he's dead is up to you and i love that it's probably going to be a different ending for each reader.
i know how it ends in my mind. the question is, do you?
