I was walking along the streets to past the time since my friends wanted to hang out at 6pm. It was 4pm currently.
I wanted to leave the house as soon as possible. I hated being in the silence for so long.
As I was walking, I stumbled upon a young boy. He wore ripped, dirty jeans and a large t-shirt. His sneakers were old and torn apart from how much they had been used.
He was standing in front of a candy store, staring at one of the lollipops. His eyes held desire and even an idiot knew that he wanted it.
I instantly felt bad because I knew the poor boy didn't have money. So, I marched into the store and brought it.
When I exited the store, the boy was still there. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned and looked up at me.
I smiled at him and handed him the lollipop. His eyes lightened up immediately.
"I saw that you wanted the lollipop, so I brought it for you," I explained.
He smiled one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen and hugged me.
I was taken aback since I didn't expect it, but I hugged him back.
Many people would think 'why would anyone waste any money on a poor boy like him?'
He isn't just a poor boy, but a human being with desires like everyone else.
