I was at the mall with Heeyoung a couple of weeks later. She called and told me that she really needed someone's company. So, here I was, at the food court with a sad Heeyoung.
We sat in silence and I longed to ask her why she was sad. Her lips were formed into a pout and she had a frown on her face.
"What's wrong, Heeyoung?" I finally asked her.
She looked up, then looked down again.
"I had an argument," she answered, and her face suddenly turned even more sad.
"With who?" I questioned.
She stayed silent. I kind of already had a feeling of who it was.
"Was it the guy from last time?" I asked her.
She took a few seconds to nod her head yes. I frowned at her response.
"What did he do?"
Her lips quivered as if she was going to cry. I hesitantly, but slowly reached out to grab her hands in mine.
"It's ok, you don't have to tell me," I reassured her.
So, here we were, at the food court, while I comforted a crying Heeyoung . I didn't mind if people stared. All I cared about was helping Heeyoung right now.
I would never care about anything as long as I was with her.
