Percy's p.o.v

"Percy yo! Chiron needs you in the big house" leo yelled. What is it this time ? I really hope it isn't anything bad considering we got the whole 7 halfbloods need to defeat Gaea quest. even though I've just gotten back to camp half blood I need to focus on what's important. And then I can finally just relax. Maybe.

When I got to the big house everybody was already there. Jason and piper were talking, my new friends hazel and frank were laughing and holding hand ( otp. Knew it all along ) leo was working on some device that was throwing sparks everywhere , and annabeth was on the couch saving a spot for me.

She looked up and smiled. Patting the seat as a sign for me to sit by her. I smiled and I sit besides her. " Your late seaweed brain " she whispers. " Well I'm here now aren't i ?" I whisper back. "Still late. " She remarks back. I peck her on the nose. " Like you were never late in your life ? " I question. " A child of Athena is never late." She insists

I smirk and just laugh

Soon the Chiron enters and speaks " I see you have came as I requested. Now all we need is n-" he stops as the door opens. to reveille nico di angelo. " Ah. I see you've decided to join Mr.di angelo.

Now please have a seat." Nico doesn't sit down. He leans against the door and says nothing. He's gotten paler. Has eyes look exhausted like he could fall asleep at any given moment. He looks older than he should. He stares at me for a second then looks back to Chiron giving him his attention. If nico who rarely comes to camp is here then this must be big.

"Well the reason I've called all of you is that I have important news to share with you. Your going to have an extra halfblood join you on your quest."

I hear piper gasp and the it's silent. So silent that you could hear a pin drop. After a moments silence annabeth soon speaks up.

" How is that possible ? The prophecy says 7 half- bloods are supposed to defeat Gaea." Chiron says " if you let ms. Dare explain then I think you would understand."

Rachel comes from behind Chiron like a ghost. Why didn't I notice her ? ( by the way she is a prophet basically ) " Hey guys " she says cooly while waving at me and annabeth.

"Ms. dare if you please " All of a sudden Rachel soon starts to chant the new sudden prophecy and we all perk up to hear it.

" DAUGHTER OF SUN SHALL ANSWER THE CALL

A NEW DEMIGOD WILL FACE ALL ODDS

HER POWERS ARE A GIFT YET A CURSE.

SHE WILL BE THE KEY. FOR BETTER OR WORSE. "

Then all of a sudden I hear a scream and the sounds of hissing.

" Well it looks like the new demigod is here. Shall we go and help her ?"
