Leo's P.O.V

So.... She's fireproof.

She's even more amazing. The way she just leaped out of the fire. I thought my eyes were playing with me. Like it was nothing.

And that smile. I'd do anything to see that smile again.

But what if she's a Hephaestus child...

Man I hope not.

Things would be really complicated if I had a crush on my sister.

I put my arm around her shoulder. You know in a "friendly" gesture. I yelled "GUYS!! I FOUND A NEW BUDDIE." I felt her wiggle out of my arm and backing up a bit. Dammit leo! Don't freak her out. I looked at her confused.

"I'm sorry." She whispers."I-I'm just not so big on the whole physical contact

Thing."

I don't get it. A few seconds ago she was so friendly and cheeky. Now she stuttered and looks tense. Wonder why?

I try again.

" Hey. I don't bite." I look at her. Shes calm now. And gods those eyes. I speak again before I lose myself in her eyes. I grab her hand and before I can take a step I hear a voice. "Leave her be leo. She can follow.". I turn and it's nico. Where did he even come from?!

The guy gives me the goosebumps.

I look at him but he's not looking at me. He's looking at Y/N.

He smiles at her and starts walking toward us.

Well valdez looks like guy got competition.

Shut up leo!! You barley even know the girl. But I already feel like I do.

"Oh come on neeks. I'm just being friendly." I said

His eye twitched at the name I gave him. He doesn't like it. " Don't call me that Valdez. And leave her alone. Or I'll have to help her."

I raised an eyebrow when I hear "help her" what does he mean?

Suddenly Y/N was staring to wobble. She was about to fall until nico was holding her up.

That's when I saw her back.

It was ripped and had blood bleed through the shirt.

There were scratches and gashes all over her back. It looked like a few would leave scars.

"Come on leo. We got to get her to the Apollo cabin. She's got gashes and scratches all over her back"

He picked her up and started running back to the Apollo cabin.

Nicos P.O.V

She was beautiful.

More beautiful than Aphrodite

Her H/L H/C looked utterly silky. Her eyes were stunning. But I shouldn't think about that now. I have to get her to the Apollo cabin. Her back looks awful. And she's loosing a lot of blood.

I notice the others are right behind me and I see Jason run up from behind me.

"Nico I'll take her to the cabin. You go alert Chiron that she's injured." I looked at him for a second. Deciding whether I should give her to him or not. Finally I make up my mind. "No. I have her. You go alert him." He looks confused but then nods.
