The Bounty System is similar to a quest board in every MMORPG. You take in request, do the job, finish the job, and pocket your fee. The only thing is, that the money is digital.
Luckily the Bounty system uses cryptocurrency and I heard that it is getting more and more valuable by the year. Lets just pray that its value wont suddenly plummet the moment I invest in cryptocurrency.
The Bounty System was created by a secret hacker organization. It was first seen in the deep web, but for some reason, they decided that it should be used for everyone.
It was originally adopted by the Federal government in order to help the Police in keeping the country safe, by reporting in domestic abuse, kidnappings, and the general crime. An example would be cases from the past, where the witness failed to phone in the 117. A mystery about why the food in their fridge keeps disappearing; turns out they have a case of a home invasion every night.
However, ever since it became accessible to the public in making requests, mostly the elites, the site became what is now today's real life quest board.. Human rights advocates prompted for the site to be taken down, due to some controversial quests that implies a corruption the Human rights community.
I mean, someone decided to make a request about debunking the charity work that the Human Rights organization has been doing for the past few years or so.
It became a site where you can actually request a hit on someone.
Fortunately the requests are only available to a few elites. And are accessible for the selected few.
In the capital there are areas where Wifi is free and decent. Especially decent.
I admit that in some days where my neighbor doesn't use their wifi, I go out of my way and head to those areas. In order to accept requests, you would need an account; with my license I can gain access to the site.
All I need is to register my name, my PIN on my license and a password that no one will be able decode, because it's a complete random.
Allyourbasearebel-....
Whoops.
"Hmmm... There are decent jobs here..."
The requests are also subdivided by their difficulty.
Class-A: Are common cases.
Class-B: are more like becoming part-timers of an undermanned delivery company, and even become their escort.
Class-C: Cases that deals with human beings. Such as missing person and affairs.
Class-D to Class-F are those that needed police assistance. Mostly deals against lowly criminals, syndicates, terrorists, corrupt officials, and the occasional scandals.
And finally,
Class-S: The more unusual requests. Such as overturn a government. A request needing the actual military in order to resolve a case.
Of course I'm at the Class-A, B and C. With my current license I couldn't gain access to the last 4 classes. Not that I would actually need to.
"Oh here's one."
After scrolling down from all the choices I could have picked, I found one in particular that would suit with my current standing in society.
Class-B:
Walk my dog.
Reward: 0.005Btc
"We've been very busy for the past week and we could no longer walk our dog. Our trips would take us two to three days to come back. If only there was someone who could take our Tobias to a walk around the park and the Capital for him to be free from his cage, we'll be happy and even give a bonus to anyone who accepts this offer."
Well well well well...
I guess I'm that guy they'll definitely need.
I like dogs.
Especially ones that are a-bit tsun-tsun.
