"2X2 is 4....... 2X9 is 18 2X10 is 20" you repeat the table to your son for the nth time again, "you get it now?"
He nods weakly with sleepy eyes making you angry, "yaah! Learn the table. You're not sleeping before reciting it to me, okay?"
"Ne eomma" he pouts and says slowly while looking at the book
"Okay so start reciting it now" you close the book
"2X2 is 4....." he pauses and looks at you
"Yes yes go ahead" you encourage him
"2X3 is 6.... 2X4 is 15"
"Yaah!" You yell, "it's high time now wonho!"
"Eomma" he begins crying, "I can't help if I am unable to learn this"

"Aigoo" hoseok comes inside the room
"Appa" he runs and wraps his tiny arms around hoseok and cries his heart out
"Ah wonho-ya shh" he rubs his back, "what happened?"

"I can't learn the table and eom...eomma is scolding me" he hiccups and cries.
Hoseok looks at you and you rub your temple out of frustration.
"Aigoo" he kneels down and holds his son's fingers, "do you wanna play?"

You look at him shocked and get even angrier, "what the heck hoseok?"
He gives you an assuring look, a look that says 'I've got it all handled'

You get up, "unbelievable" you leave the room

"Appa what are you doing with chocolates??" He cheers as hoseok places all the chocolates on the bed
"Aigoo aren't we gonna play, son?"
"Ne appa" he giggles and gets closer to hoseok's legs, he swings around his thighs

"Okay so wonho-ya, let's begin"

"Wonho for every correct answer I'll give you a chocolate hmm?"
"Ne appa!!" He claps and cheers up

"Okay so I'm gonna recite to you first and then you'll do the same, hmm?" Hoseok pinches wonho's cheeks lovingly
"Okay appa"

"2X2 is 4....." He goes on, "2X7 is.... is shhh appa" he places his small hands over his appa's mouth to keep him shut from answering, "four... fourteen" he says slowly, slightly scared that he might be wrong but hoseok's smile makes him assure and he says out loud, "14.... 2X8 is 16...."

You lean against the door frame as you see the incredibly sweet bond between the father and son.
Hoseok dedicatedly listens to wonho struggling to get the answers correct.

"2X10 is 16..." Hoseok gives him a strict look, "ani! It's 20" your son tries to hide his flaw making you two chuckle, "aaaah my baby!!" Hoseok starts tickling his son making wonho laugh uncontrollably, "appa" he laughs, "my chocolates!!"

"Ani appa will eat them right away now!!" Hoseok says and takes all the chocolates and starts running around in the bedroom with your son after him.

You giggle at the sight
"Okay okay I'll give them" hoseok says, panting, "but first....." Hoseok slowly paces towards you and raises his hands, you realize what's about to come and so you run with all your might, "yeobo!! No!" You scream as you fail to run further and get into his grip.
"Don't" you laugh as he begins tickling you.
Your son also runs towards you both and starts running his tiny hands on your stomach while jumping up and down

"Appa!! When will we study next??" Your son asks cheerfully while devouring over his chocolates

"Yaah appa won't bring these expensive chocolates everyday" you both laugh
"Appa" He whines and eats his chocolate again

You lock your hands around his arms and lean on his shoulder, "I did bad" you whisper
"What do you mean?" He asks
"You're a better parent than me"
"Pshh stop saying that..... He's getting a bit mischievous. So it's alright and besides it time for us to have another addition now" he pats your head, "you're doing well y/n-ah. Don't worry"
