You start thinking of excuses to escape from the situation but your stupid little brain wouldn't gather up anything for you to say, "I....I..."

Here you go again! You start stuttering, unable to justify yourself as to why you were peeking into his closet.

He rolls his eyes and huffs before coming closer to your frame.
Your breath hitches to find him standing only inches apart from you, his hands extend further in order to close the closest, caging you in the process.
For a minute it felt as though your entire body had stopped functioning.... You stopped breathing, your heart skipped a beat and every single organ felt freezed because of his nearness.... Wow! This hottie has a lot of impact over you.... How?

You clear your throat at the obvious discomfort of being so close to him and so you decided to push him and run away but as soon as your hand lands on his chest, he retaliates by holding your hand firmly, "haesoo..... Is it true.... I mean what ara said earlier?" He asks you intently

Confused from his sudden question, you frown your face, "huh?"

"About this...." He places his big palms over your tiny belly and his hand snakes over it, "are you finally giving the good news?" He asks genuinely, an innocent smile appears on his face. A smile which was hard to ignore.

You gulp and look at him before speaking, "uh... hehe" well what could you say? you don't know if this haesoo doppelganger of yours is/was preggers.... You don't wanna get caught till you are out of this hell.

"I think I'll do a medical check up on you.... You seem too thin than before.... I just want to make sure you're healthy"

What.On.Earth did he just say?? A medical check up!?!

Wait.... He's some doctor or whatever.... That's what your supposedly sister in law aka ara told you earlier today.
Fvck! What if he.... Automatically your hand covers your chest and you make a terrified expression only to earn a chuckle from taehyung.

"Aigoo.... You are literally acting different.... Anyway, I'll get going. Take care" he kisses your forehead and leaves.

You pout and walk outside, it has been too boring for you to scrutinize this house or hut or whatever the frick this is.

You stumble as soon as you see ara winnowing some grains but before you can turn around she calls out for your name- well haesoo's.....

Having no choice left you drag yourself towards her and sit next to where she was gesturing you to.

"Is oraboni gone?" She asks you, with a hint of slight suspicion in her voice

You nod

"I need to talk to you, haesoo."

Your heartbeat fastens hearing her say that, "uh.. sure..." You say, putting up the best fake smile as you possibly can.

"Look, the thing is that you're not yourself lately.... I mean since the time when you went out on the night of day before yesterday.... Something seems to be a bit off with you...."

You only look at her, not being able to speak, you felt helpless.
You didn't know how to defend yourself or how to make a good excuse because whatever she was saying was correct! You weren't that girl she was claiming you to be.... You were you, of course you were different!

"See.... You don't have to worry okay? I... I was talking to our neighbor, Sohye-ssi and she said that you might be having memory issues. I'll talk to oraboni about it. I just want to see my haesoo...." She holds your hand and squeezes it firmly

Memory issues? Perfect! That's the only way to your escape then.....
