My love from another star pt.2: Taehyung 🌻

Alright so tbh I literally didn't feel like continuing the book and so that's why I unpublished it. However, a lot of you asked my to keep writing it and so I decided to continue the remaining chapters here since I intend it to be a short story! ☺💜

You peek through the door from where that strange man claiming to be your husband had just walked out....

You figure that the man and a young girl, same as your age talking to each other in a serious tone, you cross your eyebrows together in order to get a good grasp of what the two were talking about.

"Don't worry oraboni..... Haesoo and I will be safe here.... Just take care of yourself, hmm" the young girl says in an assuring tone as she hands the man something covered in a cloth

'Take care of yourself? Why'd she say that? Is he going out on a war?
and wait by haesoo is she referring me cause that's what that weirdo was calling me a few minutes ago' you think to yourself as you try to make some sense of the whole situation but your little bubble of vague thoughts burst as soon as the girl notices you and a wide smile appears on her face

"Ah unnie! You're awake!" She smile and walks past the man over to you
"How are you doing?" She asks

You were perplexed and didn't know how to react. Of course how would you!? Because a) where the heck are you and b) how the heck did you even get here??

Nothing makes sense!

"Unnie...!?" She waves her hand in front of your face making you snap out of your uncertainties

"Umm.... Where exactly am I?" You smile awkwardly

The girl looks over at the man in shock and then back at you.
The man walks over to you, "I don't know ara.... She's been acting weird since this morning. Come on she didn't even recognize me for once can you believe that??" He snaps in utter despair, evident from the tone of his hoarse voice

Ara scans you, "ahhhh" she chuckles, "oraboni.... leave my lovely sister in law alone in her condition..... Forgetfulness may occur during pregnancy" she laughs

Wait what? Did she just say.... You look down to scan your stomach. What the fuck is she blabbering!?!

The man smiles and walks over to you, his warm palms hover above your shoulders before placing them aptly, "oh is that it?" He chuckles

Your breath hitches as soon as he makes that contact with you. Your heart skips a beat realizing a stranger, a beautiful stranger to be standing only inches away from your face, you study his facial features..... Getting all lost in those dark orbs of his

You shake your head and jerk away from his touch, "I'm not haesoo! Just tell me what the heck is this place and how did I even get here??" You almost scream

The duo in front of you freeze at your sudden outburst before bursting into laughter, "you'll never change will you? I love my prankster wife" the guy laughs it off and starts walking outside

"Unnie.... I'm gonna go get seaweed for you. You should go help oraboni get ready. He'll soon be heading towards the palace...."

"Palace? What palace?" You ask

"Umm..... He serves as a part of the king's council... He's the personal caretaker of the King's court. He's an uisa (doctor), remember?" Ara says matter of factly

You were getting more and more confused....but of all this confusion one thing was certain that you were some doppelganger of this haesoo girl somehow and you were stuck in the joseon dynasty.....
Or maybe you were gone mad and all of this is nothing but a mere hallucination....

You sigh..... You need to get out of here.
You smile and look at your supposed sister in law, "ah how can I forget that" you laugh, if you need to survive here, you need to act like her.

You have to be haesoo until you find your way back home.

You slowly walk inside the room, where you had woken up this morning and start scanning the entire room.
You need to get more details about haesoo in order to be her..... You open the wooden cupboard and look for anything that might be useful for you but all you could see was nothing but a bunch of clothes and a tiny bottle of scent.

You hastily open the drawer attached inside the cupboard and scrutinize the same, your eyes land on a painting along with a ring kept on it.

You pick the painting up carefully and your heart almost stops beating at the sight.
It was you along with your supposed husband.
"How?" You whisper in surprise

Your heart starts pounding heavily, weirdly seeing this painting made you feel so connected as if you can actually feel it.

You gasp as you turn the painting around only to find something written on it.
Thankfully you had done majors in archaeology because of which you had some idea of what all was written in the ancient pattern that was beautiful sculpted behind the painting.

"I will always save you in a heartbeat, Kim taehyung, no question...."
Without even having to read the whole you whisper it all out loud, tears engulfing your face.
You feel your heart pinching.
Why is does this all seem so surreal? Why does this picture makes your heart flutter ten thousand times a second, why does this quote that's sculpted behind sounds too familiar to you?
Why? You scan for the ring, it was round, too simplistic for your taste yet beautiful with the silver wired all around it. You gulp and place the contents back into its original place when a voice interrupts you

"What are you doing?" Taehyung says as he scans your fearful face
