"I don't know, minah.... He's been having temperature since last night" you sigh while talking to your best friend on phone, "Yeah, I tried that too but nothing seems to work.... I'm worried... hmm... hmm yeah I will, let jungkook come back home.... yeah talk to you later" you cut the call and head towards your 4 year old son's room, who's probably still sleeping because of the high fever he caught yesterday night.
You enter his room quietly and close the door with pin drop silence. You look at the sleeping figure of your son,

"aww my baby" you whisper and get closer to him. Looking at the blanket being thrown on the ground by your son in his sleep, you pick it up and wrap him up in to the quilt.
Being a parent surely changes an individual, especially it has a huge impact on a woman's persona. You could tell by how your life has changed in a span of 4 years since taeoh's birth..... From being a free spirited soul to being a loving and devoted wife and eventually to being unconditionally attached as a mother to your beloved son. You never knew this side of you until jiwon was born, that moment just happened to wake that inner motherly affection in you that each and every woman experiences once in life and words aren't big enough to give justice to how wonderful it feels to have someone who's purely yours.
As a mother, your life now seems to be revolving around jiwon now. It was after the moment you and jungkook found out about your pregnancy when you left the company you used to work at.... Well it was on a mutual understanding between you and your husband that your child would require attention and so you had to do it for him.
You carefully place your hand on his tiny forehead and tense at the burning sensation you feel. You wet your lips and hum the beats of the song that his father once sang to jiwon when he was still in your womb..... Well jungkook thought the baby would be a girl, "As ready as she's ever been Got the hunger and the stars in her eyes The prize is hers to win She's waiting on my blessings before she hits that open road Baby get ready Get set don't go...."
"Mmm" your son frowns a bit before opening his drowsy eyes "Aww baby you're up" you murmur and a tear automatically escapes your eyes "Eomma....." He says in his raspy voice, "eomma uljima" he tends his little hand towards your face, you bend down a little towards him to give him access to wipe your tears..... As he begins wiping you hold his hand and kiss them gently "How are feeling now baby?" "My throat aches and and my body is achy achy, too" he whines with his cute hoarse voice from the fever
"Aww my baby" you kiss his forehead, "let appa come back home" "Appa!!" Despite his fever he gets ever so enthusiastic hearing his name, "call him now" he whines "Aigoo jiwon-ah, he'll be coming back in about..." You look at the clock in your son's room, "oh look he's about to be here any minute. Let's wait for him" He nods while smiling brightly

Jungkook asks while removing his shoes and socks "Not well" you bite your lip preventing yourself from bursting out, "we'll have to take him to the hospital, I hate to see him so weak like this..... It was the worst day ever, jungkook..... The house feels so empty without him doing anything mischievous or or" you finally sob, "or him playing or..." He hugs you tightly, "shhh jagi.... I'm here now, he'll be back to being our naughty boy in a matter of seconds" he pats your back comfortably You nod while still leaning on his broad shoulders
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Jiwon-ah" jungkook cooes and sees his son playing puzzles in his bed "Appa" he cheers Jungkook goes near jiwon and pick him up, he leans closer and touches his cheek with jiwon's forehead to check on his temperature
He looks at you and nods as signal for you two to take him to the doctor ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We'll have to admit jiwon for the night.... He's gotten weak due to the fever, don't worry he'll be good once he's discharged" the doctor says while writing down prescription, "here are some medicines, just buy them and give this one after the meal....." She instructs you two about the dosage.
"Okay so please follow me to this room" Jungkook carries a scared jiwon in the ward that the doctor directed
"Appa" he whines slowly as soon as he sees a syringe, a drip bottle and some medicines besides the bed "Okay so lay him down here please" the nurse instructs and jungkook obeys with you standing besides him
"Is jiwon-ah strong?" Jungkook asks jiwon "Ne appa" jiwon says with a hitch "Jiwon do you remember the time when we were wrestling and you beat appa" jiwon laughs remembering the day Jungkook starts distracting jiwon while the nurse finds it as a signal to inject the drip needle in his hand and surprisingly jiwon didn't even get to realize it
You gulp and sigh heavily realizing it went smoothly.

"He's a strong baby" you say while leaning your head on top of jungkook's shoulders as you two see your son sleeping on the hospital bed "Yes of course genes are everything, my love" he chuckles while flaunting his biceps making you smack his muscles
"You both are my world" jungkook whispers and pecks your forehead
