Chapter 12-

September 9, 2012

The cool morning mountain breeze was rolling over my appropriately exposed skin. I stretched and touched my stomach that had a bit of extra weight, and Niall's big wolfish head was perched on it. His bright blue eyes snapped open as I tenderly petted him. He growled.

'I'm not a dog.'

"Who said you were?" I smiled. Suddenly he shot up and sniffed frantically. A loud, harsh growl erupted from deep in his chest. He slowly stood, hackles raised.

"Calm Niall-" he bolted down a small hill and i heard a loud yelp. He pulled a tan coloured wolf by the scruff.

 The wolf struggled and Niall pulled it closer to me before pinning it down. It whimpered. He growled. It shifted. Niall jumped away. It was June. Swiftly, I covered her shaking, naked body with the blanket.

"I-I-I'm s-sorry," a tear rolled down her cheek. "I DIDN'T KNOW!" she cried.

"Know?" I asked, wiping away her tears.

"Know that you and Niall were up here-"

"Aren't you supposed to be with Liam or something other than wandering nearby woods that Kath and I could be doing something other than talking in?" Niall asked her while buttoning his pants.

"I was looking for somewhere we could..." Niall tensed as she spoke.

"Alrighttt!" he shook his head. "I get it."

"Yeahhh." she flared her nostrils awkwardly.

"Well we were just leaving... uh keep the blanket." I said, slipping on my shoes and walking away. About halfway to the car, Niall stopped me.

"Kath?" he turned me to look at him.

"Hmm?" I mumbled, putting my hair up.

"I was going to do this at Yogurt Extreme, but the Zayn and Olivia thing.... Ah I'm getting off track!" he smiled and nervously ran his hand through his hair. "I was waiting until I was sure you were ready to give this to you.." he pulled a blue velvet box out of his pocket. It was amazing it didn't fall out. "Will you marry me?" he asked, opening the box, revealing a silver ring with two hearts entwined, encrusted with diamonds.

"Do you even have to ask?" I smirked and he grinned, putting the ring on my finger. Finally the question hit me and I flew into his arms, and my heart soared. "OF COURSE NIALL!!" I was beyond excited.

"But before you explode or something.. You're going home.. With me." He looked me in the eyes.

"Home home? Like to meet your parents?"

"Yeah." he smiled.

"NIALL! I can't do that! I haven't even told MY parents!" I panicked.

"They'll know.. They're coming too. Don't worry love, it'll all be fine." he gently squeezed my shoulder.

"I don't know......"

 Let's just say... This is Niall's best birthday ever.. Heh.

Later that month, I was stressing bad about my parents and Niall somehow got ahold of my them and they barged into my house NOT happy. "Katheryn Jacqueline Mitchell!" mom yelled my full name. "We are NOT happy! Niall call us and say's you're leaving again AND you're pregnant!? When were you planning on telling us?"
