"Do you like it Gattina?"He questioned, a sly smirk forming on his face, already knowing my answer to the question.
"Its freaking amazing! Can I explore?" I pleaded like a small child, making doggy eyes and pouting my lip.
"After our meeting, then yes my love."
"Woah Mario! Slow your roll, I'm not your love. I dont mind kitten, but your being too extra with calling me love. And what meeting?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow while placing my free hand on my other hip.
"Well, we have to discuss a meeting of what we're going to do with you. Plus, I have to get to know you before I make my decision."
"Whatever Mario. Is there anywhere I could put this bundle of joy down for a nap? And could I possibly get a few supplies for it?"
"Of course Gattina. I will get a stroller for him and some things that will be good for tonight. He will sit in our meeting which starts now so lets go." He finished quickly before starting to walk towards a grand staircase.
I'm not going to lie, Mario is pretty freakin handsome. His beautiful chiseled jawline went beautifully with his hazel-green eyes. His jet black hair also seemed to be spiked up in different directions, but it was adorable on him.
Kambella Leihla Pansino! Stop freakin drooling over this guy! Lord knows what hes capable of!
After about a five minute walk through beautifully decorated halls, we made it to a luxurious room, which seemed to be an office.
It was all black, but not in the mood were it seemed gothic. It was in a relaxing mood, but gloomy at the same time.
I was peacefully admiring the room, so I didnt notice the sixteen people that entered.
"Gattina, sit there please. Everyone else, you know your seats." Mario directed. We sat at a long black office table, like the ones you see in movies with about twenty chairs.
"So guys, as I informed, the mission went partly well today. The enemy is eliminated, however I had a slight altercation. You see, I was going to put Kaden to sleep, but Gattina here decided to step into the situation and try to save Kaden. I chased her for a bit, when I caught her, we faught until backup came. Now we're here." Mario spoke.
It was a short summary of what happened from his side of the story. At least I found out the kids name.
"I say we kill her." A man says in a monotone voice. He had curly brown hair that was semi long, and dusty brown eyes. He had a bit of subtle on his face but he honestly didn't care enough to shave it.
"And why do you suggest that Gino?" Mario asked. Gino, I guess thats his name.
"Because we dont need her here anyways."
"First and for most, you never start a sentence when because, especially when giving out a reason. Second, I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and shit a better statement than that." I spat, at Gino, receiving a glare back.
"Listen here bitc-" Gino tried to respond but Mario soon interrupted.
"Watch it Gino. I think she might be more valuable than you think."
"And why is that Capo?" A woman in her early twenties asked. She had beautifully long red hair, with gorgeous eyes. She could be a model for Victoria's Secret.
"She says her name is Kambella Pansino."
After Mario spoke those few words, everyone's mouth flew open. They all looked like a ghost came in and stole all of their money, but I didnt question it.
"Okay this is awkward. So I'm gonna introduce myself." I began.
"My name is Kambella Leihla Pansino. Daughter Of Maria Rosario Pansino, and Salvator Pansino. I'm seventeen years old, I turn eighteen next week on the twentieth. I have eleven doggies, and I think thats it. Any questions?" I finished.
One boy cleared his throat and began to speak. " Well, Ma'am, my mame is Alec. The rumors state that Salvators daughter never came out of the house...for anything. Why is that so?"
This is where my mind sank into my pitiful memories. I didnt want to bring them back, but it was a bout time someone knew.
"Can I have a couple wipes and please, dont call me Ma'am."
Alex handed me about four wipes and I cleaned off all the makeup covering my bruises. When everyone sees it, all I heard was gasp.
"I never did leave the house, not even to attend public schooling. I was homeschooled. These bruises are from my father. He started hitting me after my mother died. Nobody is supposed to know but my father is the leader of a notorious gang called the Vicious Vipers. Due to my father being in a gang, his enemy gang raped, and killed my mother." I began a tear sliding down my cheek.
"Gattina if you don't want-"
"Its fine. My dad then began to train me. I learned everything it takes to be in his gang. But the thing is, I didnt want to. I wanted to live a normal teen life. I didn't want to waste it doing dangerous things that could get me killed any minute. Life is precious to me. I vowed to never hurt a soul unless absolutely necessary, and I will always due as vowed."
"Anyways, tonight I was out because I had ran away from that hell hole I once called my home. I packed all my do-dads and left with my dogs. I was going to try to have a fresh start, until I saw the little incident with Mario and I couldnt let him shoot the poor baby. So I did what I did. Here I am now." I finally finished. I wiped my face that was currently stained with tears and let out a small laugh.
"Why are you laughing Gattina?" Mario asked with a look of concern in his eyes.
"Because Mario, when life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, you have to give life a thousand reasons to laugh." I answered politely.
"Gattina, I'm gonna finish this meeting with everyone. You get rest in my room with Kayden and the puppies. Okay beautiful?"
"Okay"
I was then guided to a room next to Mariano's offices wich was absolutely beautiful. It was black and white with a bit of gray furniture, but I couldnt believe how good it looked.
"Wear these until we get your things to you." He says, throwing a pair of Tommy Hilfiger boxers at me along with a big white t-shirt.
"Rest up Gattina"
With that, Mario kissed my forehead before heading out the door, shutting it behond him.
