They sabbatically left once,
Without any enlightenment.
For all I ever did was,
Look for them in the far skies,
And never happen to find the charm of the illuminating fantasies of the skies.
With their ensnaring abilities,
I recall,
They managed to captivate the radiating glances of the onlookers,
In the night sky.
And then,
They silently diminished and dwindled away,
Those that once would twinkle up there,
Far far away
Somewhere in the galaxy,
They perished.
And now,
There they appear these days,
I see at night.
Everytime I draw my curtains to see the evermore magnetising moon,
I spot a few of these,
Stare right at me
Starring the strangest skies,
With their lovely allies.
I know now,
that they like to guard me,
By building a barricade,
And occupying the night.
For I allow them to harbour me,
From the unwanted black of the night.
They are the reason,
I sleep peacefully at night,
Without any wrinkling features,
The scores of dried up tears,
I simply smile.

I'm sorry for the late update.
I had my semester exams on and was bombarded with just too many assignments.
And I'd like to inform that I won't be posting any time soon, as I have to study and score great and get accepted in the university I want, desperately!
