It all starts when you've been hurt, or when you want something you cannot have, when all you can think of, is reimagine various scenarios in your head, day and night. Not thinking once of it's impossibility, you keep yourself centered around that illusion which seems to be appealing to you, as if your life depends upon it, you are only concerned about it, focused only on what you could possibly do to make it happen and how you would. Even though it isn't in your control to make that pleasurable thing happen.
What happens after endeavouring?
Do you always manage to succeed?
or do you fail at the prospect of it's ever happening and give up?

Well, what if I say, you could ask for it and you'd get it, but be extremely careful because your wish, your desire can be tricky. It may be harmful or completely harmless, solely depending upon your decision. After all, remember, in the end it's always your choice that counts.

Mia Roberts has a wish, all she wants is to have what she cannot have.
Fortunately she's lucky, seeing as how the universe aspires to give her what she desires the most- To be invisible.

Psychologists have found in a study that human minds are such that they all have certain explicit hidden desires which they unconsciously want the most.
Such is the desire of Mia and she is ready to acknowledge it.

Thursday, a working day at the bookshop she finds herself in the midst of a temptation which she is now beginning to think is slipping out of her hands.
She's loosing hope, when a sudden call from the receptionist shakes her out of her daydreaming routine.
She's told to find an educational magazine from the garret up top.
She obeys unenthusiastically and makes her way to the said place.

While climbing up the ladder which leads to the garret she accidentally bumps her head against the wooden floor and curses under her breath when she's told to hurry.

She reaches into it and plucks out the said material.
After dusting off the thin layer of dirt she cannot stop staring at the cover.
It's blissful, her gaze cannot possibly move away. She is awestruck at the sight of Australian land on the cover with Australia written in cursive writing at the bottom right corner.
She knows what she desires the most.
She wants to be there desperately.
She skims through the book quickly glancing at the colorful pages her fingers brushing through the glossy smooth sheets all comprising an entire country within itself.

"You like it?", asks the receptionist as she hands it over to her.

"Yeah.", smiling she replies to her.

"Well, have you checked your pocket?"

"Huh?", she glances down at her loose jean pocket then looks up at the receptionist timorously.

"I meant, do you have money to go there? You barmy girl!", the woman comments with an evil laughter and gets back to work waving Mia off.

Mia has an upset face throughout the train journey back home thinking about the clear fact that she's broke.
Eventhough she rolled her eyes, thinking that lady to be gormless herself, being an old woman over her fifties, she still couldn't come to think anything except having the cognizance of her present state.

Her father belonged to an upper middle class family about a year ago but now after he lost his job they have been fluctuated to the position of lower middle class persons.
None can save them from this state except their collective efforts in bringing the broken state of the family together and fixing it by securing good pay services.
Mia luckily gets a good lumpsum amount of salary by working at the restaurant for half a day and rest of her day goes at the bookshop. She has accustomed herself to this busy life, in order to become a helping hand to her father by taking a drop year so she doesn't see the face of the university all her friends are enrolled at.

All the money she receives she gives it to him and of course some goes to herself too.
After all, who can resist the temptation of having a modern device to oneself.
At night lying on her matress twirling her hair she thinks to herself about the dynamic life that she's forced into leading. She cries herself to sleep, only feeling helpless day by day. The pressure increasing on her shoulders as the landlord keeps threatening to throw them out if they don't pay the rent in time.

She skims through her social media and sees so many happy faces, she sees how well-off everybody surrounding her is.
An instant feeling of becoming invisible knocks her door of thoughts and she sheds some more tears. She looks at the picture of her reflection and shares her sorrows not wanting to share it with them ever in reality only if she ever got the chance to meet them.

"Where does the world reside these days?"
The blonde news reporter remarks.

"The social media platform of course.", comments another, proceeding further with the news they had to declare.

Mia tries to shut those voices and ignores the television display screen provided purely for the entertainment of the customers, right above her head and tries to focus on the current situation.
She doesn't need to pay attention.
