"Are you sure it's time, Ethan?" I muttered looking into the mirror.

"It's been forever, (Y/N). I miss having healthy hair." Ethan said, making eye contact with me.

"Fair enough." I walk and sit in a chair behind him.

**time skip**

"It looks great, Ethan!" I say running up and putting my hands through his now natural hair color.

"Fuck, I miss the blue." he laughed getting up from the chair.

"You wanted this!" I teased him.

"I know I did. I really like having my hair brown though. Maybe I'll dye it blue after it heals up." He smiled.

Ethan was beaming today. He was so happy to be doing something for himself and his smile and positivity just rubbed off on you. I love seeing Ethan happy when Ethan's happy nothing else in the whole world matters. Ethan and I walked out of the hair salon and down the sidewalk back to the apartment. We were close to apartment when a girl walked up to me and Ethan. Oh no.

"Ethan? CrankGameplays?" She kindly asked, obviously nervous.

"That would be me!" Ethan smiled and opened his arms to hug the girl.

"Your hair! When did you dye it back?" She asked.

"Just now actually! Don't tell anyone yet, you're the only one that knows." he winked.

"It looks great. Hey, thanks so much for getting me through some hard times. You've helped me so much, I can't believe that I can finally thank you in person." tears started to run down her face, she was so happy to meet Ethan.

"Hey! Don't cry! It's okay. You got through all that yourself! I'm so proud of you! I'm glad I could meet you...what's your name? I never got your name?" Ethan asked pulling away to look at her.

"Laci."

"That's a wonderful name." Ethan pulled her back into a hug until she calmed down.

His community loves him so much and he loves them. I couldn't help but smile wide at Ethan and Laci. He brings her as much happiness and hope as he does me.

"Can I-I ask who that is?" Lack asked pointing at me.

Oh god. Oh god. What do we say?

"This is (Y/N)! She's been a friend of mine since forever and I needed someone to come with me to get my hair dyed because I knew I would chicken out and stay blue." Ethan laughed, looking at me.

He didn't lie. We have been friends since forever and he probably would've kept the blue hair.

"You're very pretty!" Laci told me smiling.

I didn't know how to respond, I'm still not use to compliments. I'm so use to slurs about how ugly and disgusting I am. I smiled at Laci and quietly said "Thank you. You are too."

Laci hugged Ethan one more time, thanked him, and walked away.

"She was so nice." I breathed in awe as the girl walked away.

"She really was. Respectful too."

Hi!! This is a short filler chapter I know but schools started back so I'll try to update every weekend. I'm also running short on ideas for chapters so feedback is appreciated. Plus would y'all be mad if I make Ethan the bad guy for a little while bc I think it could be fun. ;) Anyway, please leave suggestions.

lots of love, han.
