I turned to face her. Pure hatred and anger flowed through my veins. The only thing I could think of was that I wanted revenge. She was the reason I lost my parents. She was the reason I lived my life in fear of my sister, my last living blood relative.
"Nyx, battle stance. " I summoned my Lucario. My voice had dropped to a dangerously low tone. Nyx sensed my anger, she realised what I was going to do.
Aeria, don't do this. Her voice sounded in my head.
She was the reason I lost everything. I have to. Not just for my sake. For everyone, I have to do this, or die trying. I was fixed on this. And as my Pokemon learnt a lomg time ago, when I wanted to do something, there was no stopping me.
If I can't stop you, I might as well do my best to help. She faced the opponent's Klefkey.
"Go in with Close Combat and Extreme Speed, then throw Fire Punch and Blaze Kick into the mix. " She shot forward, delivered a series of blows, then jumped back.
The battle went on. I would defeat one of her Pokemon, she would take out mine. Finally, it was Drakeon against Malamar.
The two Pokemon faced off, neither of them showing any sign of weakness. Only now do I see that there was a chance of me losing this battle. But I wouldn't give up without a fight.
"Drakeon, it's time. " I whispered...
A/N : So, that's probably somewhere near the end of the second book. That's all I'll reveal for now. Until I complete some of my other stories, I won't be publishing the second book.
