Identities

The team, plus Omen and Hollow, were flying in the bio-ship on their way back to the mountain. Omen had his arms draped over his stomach and he was struggling to keep his eyes open. He was tired and the blood loss wasn't helping at all, Hollow was the one making sure he didn't sleep yet.

Omen was currently applying pressure to most of his wounds so they wouldn't bleed as much. At least he was the only one with injuries, he was used to pain after everything that happened. Omen's mind started to wonder and he thought about his life in the facility. He had been getting experimented on for four years before that day, the day everything changed for he and Hollow.

He wasn't Hollow then, he was just Richard, he was eight years old and his whole life changed. Richard's parents died, no they were killed, and because Richard knew him those damn scientists took him. They kidnapped Richard that night and he was taken to the facility where he was practically thrown into Danny's cell.

Danny was shocked but he ran to Richard and got in front of him to protect him from the scientists. The scientists closed the door and Danny turned to Richard who looked scared and Danny tried to back up. That was when Richard suddenly hugged him and Danny took a second to hug him back.

"Danny what's going on, where are we?" That's when Danny explained everything, being sold, experimented on, tortured, and trained. Richard listened to every word and his heart broke more and more as the story went on. By the time it was done Richard was crying for his friend that looked as if he had accepted what was happening to him.

Richard hugged Danny again, "We'll get out of here, I promise we'll get out of here, together." Richard let go of him and smiled, Danny couldn't help but smile back, not even five seconds later the door opened. A guard grabbed Danny and lead him out of the room, Richard was going to stop them but Danny shook his head.

Richard froze for a few seconds and that's all it took for the guards to be able to close the door. Danny walked down the hallway and once they got to the experimentation room Danny laid on the table. Then he looked at the scientists, "I know you're up to something, what the hell's you plan?"

One of the scientists smirked, "It's simple, as long as you do what you're told we won't hurt your little friend. If you disobey he'll be the one to pay the price, your friend is insurance, behave and we won't hurt him."

Danny's eyes narrowed, "How do I know you're not lying?"

"Are you really willing to find out?" Danny glared at them but he kept his mouth shut, that's how it started, that's how Richard came to understand Danny. The two studied together, trained together, ate together, and basically lived together. The only times they were separated where when Danny was being experimented on or tortured.

Two years after Richard was taken to the facility Danny was brought to a room he hadn't been in before. That was when they killed him, that was when he became a halfa, he could still hear those screams. Omen was taken out of his thoughts when the ship landed and Hollow helped Omen stand up.

Omen tried to insist that he was fine but Hollow could always call him out on his bullshit. Hollow immediately took him to the medical bay and took care of his wounds, they weren't that bad but blood loss wasn't something to take lightly. After Hollow had finally said that Omen was patched up he stood up but Hollow hugged him.

Omen smiled, "I'm okay, really."

Hollow hugged him a little tighter, "You were thinking about it again."

Omen sighed as he hugged Hollow back, "I'm never going to forget it, at least not all of it was bad." Omen smiled as he heard Hollow laughed a little, the two kissed for a few seconds before they got their stuff and left the room. The two were glad that no one saw the color of Omen's blood, that would be hard to explain.
