We're All We Have Left

Disaster

Danny woke up in the morning and he saw that Richard was still asleep and he smiled. Danny went to make breakfast and Richard woke up while he was cooking and Richard yawned a little before he smiled. Richard set the table while Danny finished cooking and they sat down to eat and Richard thought for a minute.

"Do you want to hack into the watchtower and see if the team has any missions today?"

Danny smirked, "Is that even a question?" Danny quickly got their laptop before he hacked in the watchtowers systems before looking through a few things. "It looks like there might be one, apparently Batman's considering sending a few League members."

Richard hummed, "If it's an important mission I can see why he would do that, the young heroes just started acting like a team after all."

Danny nodded, "I definitely wouldn't want to risk the team screwing up if it were important." Danny closed the laptop, "I just hope that whatever Leaguer he sends aren't jerks." Richard laughed a little before the two finished eating and got ready so they could go to the mountain later. Danny ended up doing a handstand which later resulted in him balancing on nothing but his thumb.

Richard could tell that Danny was a bit bored but since there was nothing to do he just smiled before he checked the systems on their laptop. When it was finally time to go Danny did a flip before he landed lightly on his feet and Richard smiled as he shook his head. "Show off."

Danny smirked, "Look who's talking." They both laughed a little before Richard kissed Danny, the halfa quickly transformed before he teleported them. When they got inside the mountain they saw that Artemis wasn't there yet so they sat on the couch and waited. She showed up a few minutes later and Danny was already bored once again and Richard was starting to get bored as well.

About ten minutes later Batman finally showed up and the heroes went to meet him. Batman immediately started talking once they had gathered around him, "You have a mission. A few of the other Leaguers and I will be going with you since we don't know much about the targets. You'll be leaving in a few hours, until then get ready, I'll tell you more about the mission before we leave."

Omen stopped Batman before he could leave, "Hold the fuck up, at least give us a name so Hollow and I can try and find something out."

Batman looked at the duo, "There wasn't a name, we found out that this mysterious group was one of the ones that worked with the people you two got information from. The only thing we know is that this group helped them more then any of the others so they might be helping other groups."

Hollow crossed his arms, "Then we'll have to be careful, if these guys aren't idiots they'll probably know that we might go after them."

Batman nodded, "Which is why I'm giving you all several hours to get ready so you'll be prepared." Batman walked out of the room and the young heroes went to get ready as the duo thought for a second.

Omen finally spoke, "This might not turn out well."

Hollow nodded, "Let's just hope that nothing bad happens." The two eventually went to the living room and Omen decided to take care of his weapons. He sharpened the knives and swords before cleaning them and he cleaned each piece of his guns and made sure he had extra clips. Hollow usually carried at least two extra clips but Omen decided to go home and grab a white belt he had that carried more clips.

He strapped it on and tilted it simply because he wanted to and when he got back to the mountain he put his guns back together. Once he did that he and Hollow waited for the Leaguers they'd be working with on this mission. As the sun was starting to set the Leaguers showed up, there was Batman, Superman, and Black Canary.
