We're All We Have Left

Omen and Hollow had grabbed their laptop before sneaking out of the mountain and teleporting home. Once they were finally back at the haunt Richard took off his cloak and mask while Danny transformed. Richard laid down on the couch and Danny laid down next to him, they were happy to be home.

Danny mentally sighed, "Do you think it was a good idea to tell him who we really are?"

Richard hummed and hugged Danny closer to him, "I guess we'll just have to find out. I'm hoping it was a good idea though, I just don't want anyone to get hurt because of us."

Danny frowned, "But you got hurt because of me."

Richard looked at Danny in shock as Danny hugged Richard tighter and hid his face in Richard's chest. Richard eventually got Danny to look at him and he looked at his boyfriend seriously. "I didn't get hurt because of you, it wasn't your fault, none of it was your fault Danny."

Richard kissed Danny and when they pulled away they laid together in silence for a bit. Richard looked at Danny, "Do you want to watch a movie?"

Danny smiled, "Sure." Richard smiled and kissed Danny's forehead before he turned on the TV and found a movie neither of them had seen before. They both watched the movie and laughed a few times, when the movie ended they got up to make dinner. They decided to be lazy so they just made stuff that was easy to cook and ate that.

After they ate they went to bed and they fell asleep not long after crawling into bed. When they woke up the next morning Danny woke up before Richard, Danny went to take a shower while Richard slept. Richard woke up not long before Danny was done with his shower, once Danny was dressed he walked out of the bathroom.

Richard smiled and the two kissed before Danny went to make breakfast while Richard took a shower. By the time breakfast was done Richard had finished his shower, the two ate in silence. Danny checked on the systems before they both played a video game, it was a fighting game.

They played several rounds and they both tied in the end, it was still fun though. Danny checked the time and sighed, "We should probably go to that stupid mountain."

Richard groaned, "Heroes are a pain to deal with." Richard looked at Danny, "We still don't know whether we want to join or not."

Danny shrugged, "It's not the worst idea but if we do there have got to be some changes. I'm surprised they haven't died yet, if we hadn't been on that last mission they would have screwed it up so badly."

Richard laughed, "Definitely, so do you want to join the team, I'm not opposed to the idea."

"As long as they get better at their damn jobs I'd be okay with joining." Richard smiled and kissed Danny before they both stood up and got ready to leave. Richard got his cloak and mask while Danny transformed and grabbed their laptop before teleporting them to the mountain.

They snuck in like they always did and when the two walked into the room the young heroes suddenly stood up. Omen and Hollow raised an eyebrow from the shadows of their hoods but they didn't care enough to ask questions. Omen and Hollow sat somewhere that wasn't to close to anyone and they got a message.

Omen looked at it and he looked at Hollow, "Rigardoj kiel Penguin volas kontrakti nin por laboro, li volas liston de bankoj kun granda kvanto da mono en ili." (Looks like Penguin wants to hire us for a job, he wants a list of banks with a large amount of money in them.)

Hollow hummed, "Mi supozas, ke ni povus okupi la laboron, li ne povis ŝteli centonon de trotuaro." (I guess we could take the job, he couldn't steal a penny from a sidewalk.)

Omen laughed a little as he began to type a reply to Penguin before he looked for the information. It shouldn't take to long to find the information, then the zeta tube announced Batman's arrival, well shit. Omen sighed as he held the laptop in one hand and typed with the other, it was harder then it looked.

They went to meet Batman and once he saw the two he looked serious and Hollow had an idea as to why. Omen was still looking at the computer screen but he could feel Batman staring at them. Hollow mentally sighed, "I only need one guess as to why you're trying to burn holes into us."

Omen laughed, "That's an understatement." Batman motioned for the two to follow him and they did, Omen didn't even look up. Once they were in the batcave and they stopped near the bat computer Omen sat on the ground so he could type with both hands.

Batman raised an eyebrow, "What are you doing?"

Hollow rolled his eyes, "Working, we get requests for jobs all the time."

Batman mentally sighed, "Do I even want to know who you're working for right now?"

Omen shrugged, "You actually might, Penguin asked for a list of banks in Gotham that are currently holding a lot of money."

Batman was slightly shocked, "And why are you telling me this?"

Hollow crossed his arms, "Because we don't like Penguin and you were probably going to stop him anyway. Just don't tell him we told you, we've got enough villains out for our blood as it is."

Batman would have asked what he meant but he figured that they wouldn't want to talk about it. Well they probably wouldn't want to talk about most of the things Batman wanted them to. Batman took off his cowl, "I need to ask you both a few questions."
