This is Silas Charley Haun riding my skateboard. (He hated this but it is a cute pic).
So Silas is a little over a year old, I got him September 30, 2016 and he was a little older than 2 months. He is a Silver Dutch American Shorthair.

This is him the day I got him, eating his food. So he has a pretty funny story; me and my dad got him without telling my mom. My guinea pig, Puff, who we had recently had to put down, was a really big part of our family. My dad and I walked into the pet shop a little after a week after puff passed away, and I saw Silas, and I knew I couldn't live without that little piggy.
We do a lot together, we have photo shoots:

But Silas is also kinda sick. He doesn't breathe well, and the vet has no idea what's wrong with him. We give him a daily nebulizer treatment (3 mLs of gentamicin) and an oral medication (.9 mLs of enrofloxacin) but none of it really helps too much. He never runs around like he used to.
So I am sad to say, we are most likely going to put him down on Christmas. There is honestly no quality of life left for him, I mean who would want to live off nothing but medications for your entire life. It's not fair to keep him here if he is as miserable as he has been.

I love my little Siley Bug so much.

I'm sorry to have to do this to you buddy. But just know that it hurts me so much to do this to you, I don't want to see you like this anymore. Just know that I love you with all my heart little dude. We had amazing times doing photoshoots, and eating nummies, and running outside. I will never forget the times you helped me dry my tears. Or the times you danced to my songs. Or the times you sang along.
And most of all, I will never forget the time I smiled at you, and I swear you smiled back.
