~Ruby's POV~
I looked at my time table and quickly scanned over everything, it all seems fine. I was going to go see my locker but I figured I'd get lost and I'm already late so I'll do that later. I walked down different hallways looking and the room numbers getting closer and closer to the room I need. I almost jumped with happiness when I finally found it. I knocked timidly on the brown door before twisting the door handle and walking in, at which point everyone in the class turned and faced my direction. My scared look changed when I noticed Matt sat at the back. "Excuse me" the teacher smiled "Oh, sorry. I'm new" I smiled "your name?" he smiled sweetly "Ruby" I smiled "Ruby Johnson" Matt finished mimicking the time I told him my name "Thank you Mr. Donovan, I'm sure Ruby can talk for herself" The teacher smiled "I'm Alaric Saltzman, go find a seat" he smiled before I walked and took the spear seat in front of Matt "you don't need to text me your time table" he whispered in my ear before leaning back and focusing on what Mr. Saltzman was saying.
"Matt" I smiled as I jogged up beside Matt "Hey" He smiled as He put a arm around me, his finger tips brushing my arm lightly "walk me to my locker?" I asked trying to give my best puppy dog face "sure, number?" he asked "137" I smiled as I pulled out a folded bit of paper "mine's 138, follow me" he smiled before leading me in a different direction.
"This is for your locker" Matt smiled as he gave me a picture of himself as I was opening my locker "Thanks" I chuckled before opening the metal door and sticking the picture on the inside of my locker door. I emptied the books from my bag and stuck my time table above Matt's picture "Lunch?" he asked when I slammed the metal door causing it to make a loud bang. "Sure" I smiled as I looped my arm through his "You're going to love my friends" he smiled as he lead my outside to a red metal table filled with people, here we go.
