The sun was shining bright in the sky. Shefali woke up only to find her husband missing from the room. She looked at the clock and her eyes widened with shock. It was seven o' clock in the morning. Her heart started to sink but then she realized that Ashutosh won't mind. She went to the washroom.
On the other hand, Ashutosh was in the kitchen, preparing coffee for his wife. He had decided to pamper her as much as he could and therefore, wanted to wake her up with coffee. He soon prepared the coffee and carried it in a tray to his bedroom. On entering the bedroom, he realised that Shefali had already woken up. He went to the side table, his back towards the washroom door, and placed the mug on it. At the same time, Shefali opened the washroom door. She had forgotten to carry her clothes to the washroom and thus was wrapped in a towel, with her left hand keeping it in place.
As Ashutosh heard the door open, he turned around. On seeing him in the room Shefali shrieked and dropped the towel. It took a few seconds for Ashutosh to realize what was happening. He rushed out of the room, muttering a sorry.
Shefali went on a shock for a few moments. Then she realized that nothing has gone wrong. Ashutosh was her husband. Yes, it was very strange for her, but she was not feeling disgusted. On the other hand, Ashutosh could not forget what he saw. He was not a saint and his wife was extremely beautiful.
Breakfast that day was exceptionally quiet. Ayushi was not able to understand the reason but decided to give the couple their own space. Later, Ashutosh informed the ladies that his friend, Rajat would be visiting them for lunch.
Living Room, 12:30 PM
Ayushi and Shefali were busy chatting. Ashutosh was just a mute spectator to their conversation. Suddenly, the door bell rang and Ashutosh moved forward to open the door and welcome his friend, Rajat Sharma.
Rajat (to Ayushi) - "Hello Ayushi."
Ayushi - "Hi Raja."
Ashutosh (moving forward) - "Rajat, meet my wife Shefali."
Rajat - "Namaste bhabhiji."
Shefali too joined her hands and offered a meek namaste.
Sensing Shefali's discomfort, Ashutosh asked her to go and get some snacks for Rajat. He even asked Ayushi to accompany her, while he sat with Rajat and they talked about random topics.
Kitchen
Shefali and Ayushi enter the kitchen and start the preparing snacks.
Shefali - "What is this Raja thing?"
Ayushi - "I used to call him bhaiya as he is Ashu bhai's friend. But he got angry and forced me to call him Raja."
Shefali nodded and both of them carried the snacks to the living room.
Living Room
The girls served the snacks and sat down on the sofas.
Rajat - "So, Ashu when are you joining office?"
Ashutosh - "From tomorrow."
All of them continued to chat. All the time, Rajat observed Ashutosh and Shefali. They had their lunch and soon Rajat left.
Rajat's POV
She is so beautiful. With age her beauty has increased. Ayushi, I love you. I want you. But your brother. He asked me to forget you. He made fun of my feelings. I will make fun of his. Enjoy your married life while there is time, because I will destroy it soon. You are falling in love with that girl, soon she will hate you. Like Ayushi couldn't be mine, Shefali won't be yours.
