"Why do you have to go?" Noelle mumbles into my shoulder, her tears wetting my skin as I cry lightly.

Currently, we, my parents, I, Noelle, Ron and Jake, are at the airport, saying our last goodbyes. God knoes when I will see them again. Vancouver isn't exactly close to New York.

I let go of Noelle, crashing into Ron's shoulders, him wrapping his arms tightly around me. "It's okay Maddie, we're gonna' make this friendship works." Ron assures me, slowly letting go as I nod, "we better." He chuckles slightly as I move over to Jake.

Jake had been my best friend since the second grade where I accidentally broke his arm when I pushed him off the slide. I was impatient, and I guess you can say it wasn't accidentally.

We have always had this strong bond, even stronger than Noelle and I's. It just feels like we have a deeper connection than the rest of our friends.

"Hey Mads, it's gonna be okay." He assures me, pulling me into a hug, "we'll skype, we'll text, we'll call, we'll visit." He lists, wrapping his arms tighter around me.

After several minutes he let's go slightly, his eyes boring into mine, and in an instant, his lips are on mine.

It is a quick, short kiss, and he soon pulls away, whistles being heard from Noelle and Ron. My cheeks blush pink  and without thinking, I wave goodbye to my friends one last time, leaving Jake stranded, him looking bewildered.

What was that all about?

Never have I thought that Jake liked me as more than a friend.

I mean, I don't see him that way, he's one of my best friends and that's it.

God, this is a mess.

Now our friendship won't ever be the same, now it'll be awkward and weird. I guess one of the perks of moving is that I don't have to fscr Jake for awhile.

Meeting up with my parents, realisation finally catches up to me. I'm leaving my friends and it won't be soon until I see them again, my heart receives a pang, but I push down my tears and my feelings down, not wanting to have a mental breakdown in the middle of the airport.

After several minutes, pur lugguage checked in and our passports checked, we finally board the plane, me having a spot next to an older man, my parents sharing a seat five rows in front of me.

I stare out of the wind, gulping slightly. I hate flying. I hate every part of it.

The ease my mind, I let my thoughts travel to Finn.

He has only dm'd me that one time, he follows me on Instagram, which is absolutely huge for me.

I don't know why he decided to talk to me let alone follow me, I mean, I'm just another fangirl and I'm pretty sure by this time he forgot about me seeing that he hasn't dm'd me in over a week.

I don't know why I am hoping he'd talk to me again.

He's a very famous celebrity and I'm just me,Madilyn Smith, the girl who's video went viral.

As the airplane starts taking off, I grab the seat, propably leaving marks, and as soon as we are in the air, I calm down slightly.

I can't believe this is actually happening. I'm moving to Vancouver, where Finn lives might I add, I'm leaving my friends behind in New York, Jake has feelings for me, and to top it all off, I'm trending on YouTube.

hat has my life turned into in such a short period of time?

It's crazy really. My life has never been this exciting before. Usually Noelle is the one who lives for adventures. Like that one time where she and Ron bubble wrapped our history teacher's classroom or that time where she created a flashmob in the middle of school, everyone joined in except for me and a few other people. I was too shy.

Maybe, moving to Vancouver isn't that bad, maybe I can stop being my shy self, who knows what will happen.
