"I'M REALLY sorry Maddie, I really am." Jake begins, slightly pacing around the room.

I get it, I mean, we all make mistakes, he just lost his temper, but it just makes me slightly uncomfortable being in his presence. I guess you could say I'm scared that he'll break something again...hopefully that won't be the case.

"Jake,it's okay." I sooth, my voice slightly wavering as his eyes lock with mine.

"No it's not Maddie, I-I hurt you." I sigh slightly, "Jake, it was an accident, really, it's fine."

I can see he feels extremely guilty, his eyes give away all his emotions.

"Maddie," he takes a deep breath, "I-why Finn?"

His question takes me aback as I bite my lip, trying to find the right words.

"Jake, Finn and I-we're friends."

"But you like him." He counters, and I know I can't deny the truth.

Finn has been my celebrity crush for a very long time, I mean, everyone has a celebrity crush.

But the day he dm'd me, it all changed. He wasn't my celebrity crush anymore, he became my friend, one of my best friends in such a short period of time.

I had grown very fond of him, and to be honest, I started gaining feelingd for him. It wasn't because of his fame or his good looks that I started to like him, not at all, it was because of the little things he does. Like when he holds my hand or when he makes the corniest jokes and pick up lines.

And now, confronted by the fact that I have feelings toward Finn, I can't helo but smile at the thought of him.

"I guess you could say that." My voice is only above a whisper, but I can see how my statement affects Jake.

He looks heartbroken, and the sight makes me feel guilty,but it's the truth.

"Let's just go join the party." Jake moves to the door, not making eye contact with my whatsoever as he throws open the door, making me jumo back at the action, though Jake doesn't notice, because when I exit the guest room, Jake is no where to be found and I only hope he's okay.

I think he needs time to cool off, I don't want to upset him further by looking for him.

My eyes roam around my house, which is now more crowded than before, all of the kids about my age, some a bit older. How many people did Finn and Malcolm even invite?

"Maddie!" My head snaps in the direction where my name was called amd I notice Noelle standing next to Ayla, with Ron on Ayla's other side.

I quickly make my way over to the trio, smiling at them.

I notice Noelle had changed into one of her newly purchased outfits, a nice dress, reaching her mid thigh, it fits her.

"You look good." Shd compliments as I smile, thanking her and telling her that she looks nice as well.
