Unknown: Hey, are you coming to Blackpool to see me or not? I need an answer by the end of today.

I didn't really know what to say. I tried my best all day to take my mind off the text. I cooked, cleaned even played xbox.

I unlock my phone. Shit! I'm late to pick January. I run to the car, speeding on my way.

I get to the nursery, out of breath.

"Left something Mr Pimentel? I thought you was sick." Barbra looked at me confused.
"Where's sunshine?" I ask out of breath as I glance round an empty nursery.

"She's not here, sir. Someone's taken her already," my heart stops at this moment.

Who? I had moved and mom would have phoned me if it was her.

"Some woman, with brown hair. Blue eyes, medium height. I asked her where you was and she said you were sick. Do you want me to call the police sir?" The short elderly woman asked, as she held a dishcloth in her hand.

"No no, it's fine. I know who she is. She just didn't tell me." I lie. "Okay. See you." She says tending to her duties. "Bye." I storm out.

"That bitch!" I curse. But my eyes well up with tears. She took my princess when I was running away from her.

I thump her number in, and hold the phone to my ear, she had the audacity?!

"Yes? Now you hear me don't you." She says curtly.

"You're sick using January as a toy. You can't just come and take her after everything? Just to get me to listen." I spat down the phones. I sounded tough. But in reality I was terrified. Terrified of what she would to to her. My heart, weighed double it's usual weight, giving me a strange feeling.

"Remember she's just as much as my child as she is yours."
She has a point though. I couldn't stop her from seeing the child she gave birth to.

"Now it's my turn." She says simply before hanging up. I couldn't follow her. How could I? I didn't know where she had taken her.

I knocked on the door, hard in case she was sleeping, my foot shaking in anticipation.

"Hey, I'm very sorry, I'm late for work." Laila huffed. She was dressed in a grey suit, her long hair opened, curled and swung behind her.

My heart raced like a time bomb. I may have developed a small crush on this woman.

"Are you okay? Tobias?" Her eyes frantically move, trying to read the situation.

"I'm going to phone in work and say I'm ill. And then we'll talk." She squeezes my hand before going to the kitchen.

My leg shakes violently. My life was hollow, yet I failed to believe I lived before January had entered my life.

"I got Shawn to cover my shift." She sits besides me. "Vamos. Shoot." She says sitting across me on a grey leather stool.

"I don't know why I came here, it's just you sand January bonded so well, and..." I trail off.
"What's happened to her?" A concerned look reflecting in her eyes, her brows knit together.

"Summer took her from nursery, and I don't know where she is," I say through tears.
"Whats her full name?" She asks before taking her phone out.

"Summer Joy, I know stupid right?" I chuckle trying to lighten my mood.

"Okay, is this her?" She opens an Instagram page with 'ASummerJoy" at the top. Her name makes me snigger a bit, but in all her photos are selfies with her and her friends. She looks jovial.
I notice in her bio a 'Connor💍👰🏻'

She got married. I scroll down, seeing more photos of her and a mysterious ginger boy.

"Sorry, I nicked your phone. Yep that's her." I hand over her phone.

"You came to the right place. Ya girl works like an FBI," she adds her snapchat name into her phone, that was written in her bio.
"Yesssss!" She fist pumps the air, her tiny burst of happiness makes me feel good inside, fining me hope. I knew this was the right place to go.

"She added me back, she's on the snap map, so she's..." she uses both fingers to zoom in and find an exact address, with her tongue poking out the side of her mouth.

"Bridley Park. 5 mins away. We can walk it from here, it's so close." She says grabbing her keys off the counter. I lead our way out as the locks up behind us.

When we arrived at the park, I spot January with a girl with brown hair braided in a fishplatt that sits on her shoulder. I push the gate open and it squeals, getting January's attention.

Her eyes light up and she runs to me.
"PAPA!!!!" She ran as I crouch to her size.
"Señorita, I'm so glad your okay. I'm never gonna come late again." I stroke her hair.

"Papa that woman said she's mama. But mama's in heaven isn't she?" She point to Summer.

"Let's go, January, I'll tell you at home." We jog trying to leave this place. We run to round the corner and to Laila's house looking like criminals.

"Hurry," I tell Laila as she unlocks her door. Letting us in.

When we're in, Laila stands infront of me, arms crossed.

"What's going on?" With one eyebrow raised.
I gulp.

I don't know myself.
