Teachers at school say
" Act like a human and not an animal "
What are humans supposed to be like ?
Society decides what is a standard for a human
" You have to be not brave, but not afraid
Not strong,but not weak
Not kind, but not mean
Not loud, but not quiet
Stuck between black and white yet there's no grey ( @kynthiapoetry )
Where is the middle in this ?
What do you want me to be ?
If I'm strong people are scared of me
If I'm weak I'll be scared of people
If I'm brave, people will think to highly of me and expect more
If I'm afraid, people with underestimate me
If I'm too nice, people will take advantage of me
If I'm mean, people will fear me
If I'm loud, people with listen to me too much
If i'm quiet, my thoughts are left to dust
According to society
I don't act like a human
Because I do not fit in the middle
I do not fit in this mold
That society wants me to fit in because we are all trained
Trained to be the same and to think the same way
Trained to obey and do what others say
Trained to be like a " human "
Society isn't making humans it's making robots
Robots that have to be perfect
One little loose wire
Will cost your life
One little mishap and you're completely screwed
I'd rather die than " act like a human "
