I open my eyes to see pitch black. Once my eyes adjust, I sit up. Turning to see Grace. Nothing but beauty is what I see. Quietly, I grab my journal from my desk. I look out to the sunrise. No matter how long I've lived the sunrise stills manages to surprise me. The sun rises just above the horizon. "You're up early." I turn to see Grace standing in the door way. "I didn't want to miss the sunrise. It is gorgeous. The way the orange mixes with the blue. Nothing but beauty." I say, looking over the horizon. I feel her warm hand on my bear back. This frockcoat is a dark shade of jade green, the waistcoat is a very light brown, and breeches are also jade. "Yes, when I was your age. Now all that seems like a lifetime ago. It suits you, Caspian." John places his right hand on my left shoulder. "Shall we head to beach pavilion, Mr. James?" he offers. "Yes, we shall." I follow John out of the main room and to the front door. A dark drown carriage waits for us. "Today you become a part of our family Caspian. Treat my daughter like no other, love and respect her." We clasp hands. "I will do my damnest and try my hardest to give her the life she wants and deserves," I say with a grin and cock an eyebrow. "That is all I ask. Thank you." I nod. We arrive at the pavilion, the sun is still rising and guests are arriving. I think to myself. Here we go...
