Chapter 20

I open my eyes to see familiar faces. Lee Evans. Grace Lensure. Emma Steele. I rush towards all of them. I hug and kiss them all. "Am I dead?" I ask. Grace smiles. "Yes and no." Lee responds. "You are in between paradise and reality." Emma says.

"Your fight with John has proved rather bad. He took your powers but since he is the last of his kind, that means you can kill him once and for all." Grace explains. Grace hands me a scalpel. The one he used to kill Alexis. "What happens when I leave?" I ask. Lee steps forward. "You hold onto us three. You need to let us go. We can give you a normal life but you have to let go of us." He says. Lee places his hands on my right shoulder, Emma places her hand on my left shoulder, Grace hold my hands. "We can send you back." Grace says. "Before you guys send me back. I just wanna say that each of you have given me something amazing. Lee I am sorry for what happened. I love you." I tell him.

"I love you too, Caspian." Lee says. He kisses me the vanishes.

"Grace, I am sorry that I waited so long to tell. John will get what he deserves. Please tell Alex that daddy loves and misses him. I love you." I say. "I love you too."Just like Lee, she kisses me then vanishes.

"Emma, I am sorry I wasn't quick enough. Please tell our child that I love him or her. I love you." I say. "I love you, Caspian." She, just like Grace and Lee, kisses me then vanishes.

I see Alex walks towards me. "Hey Dad." He says. I rush towards him and embrace him. "I love you, son. Please protect your mother." I say. "Don't worry, I will." He disappears.

A little girl walks toward me. I kneel down in front of her. She is a spitting image of Emma. "Are you my daddy?" She asks.

"Yes I am. What is your name, little one?" I ask.

"My name is Anna James." She says shyly.

"Well Anna I have to go soon, can I have a hu -" Before I can finish my sentence, Anna wraps her arms around my neck. I kiss her on the head. She disappears.
