"You're here!!" You heard Cindy screech when she came to unlock the door to hers and gilinsky's house and let you in. She loved having her time baby sitting Calvin. He was having one of his clingy days with you, which surprised you as most of the time he was clingy with jack but when he heard Cindy's familiar voice he started flapping his arms in excitement.
As soon as he caught sight of Cindy he held his arms straight out asking for her to hold him.
"Hello my baby, I've missed you, are we going to have so much fun tonight?, yes we are !" She said whilst holding him under his arm pits and spinning him around gently and slowly. You and jack just chuckled and walk into the house.
"Where's G?" Johnson asked and it was just like magic Gilinsky came straight through the kitchen door into the hallway where we were standing. He didn't take a second look at us, he went straight to greet Calvin. As soon as Calvin saw his uncle jack he completely lost it, you'd never seen him get this excited over jacks friends as he sees all of them quite often but Cindy and jack have a different effect on Calvin, I think he feels more at home with them.
"Hey little dude, I'm just as excited to see you too," Gilinsky chuckled whilst taking Calvin into his arms and wondering off into the living room.
"Sorry guys, we haven't even said hello to you yet," Cindy said laughing loudly.
You just smiled and pulled her in for a hug.
"You okay love, it's good to see you again," you said and she nodded in agreement. You walked on into the living room and Cindy greeted jack in a hug the same way she did you.
By this time jack and Gilinsky had gone off as per usual into their studio whilst me and Cindy were sat chilling out in their living room catching up on any gossip we both had to tell each other, Calvin was sat sleeping contently in his aunty Cindy's arms, he was slowly getting too big to be cradled anymore and it made you sad.
You just remembered you had bottles in your baby bag you expressed this morning so you got up to put them in their fridge for when he needed feeding later.
Calvin had woken up now and you were currently in the kitchen making you and everyone else a cup of tea as Cindy had just nipped out to get some food and snacks for her and jack later.
"Mumma!" Calvin squealed loudly noticing you weren't focusing your attention on him. He widely smiled when you turned to look at him, "Mumma! Mumma! Mumma!" He smiled and you stroked his blond hair, he was the spitting image of his dad when he was a child.
Cindy walked back in and saw Calvin was pulling on your dress constantly trying to get your attention.
"Here, let me get him, let him get used to me before you go to make it easier for him the rest of the night, he is getting more clingy now I can tell, he can tell you're leaving him here for the night I think." She said and scooped Calvin up and placed him on her hip.
Calvin's face suddenly started to scrunch up ready to cry but he suddenly settled down when he could see his reflection in Cindy's glasses.
"Mumma!" He laughed happily, pointing at Cindy's glasses to show you.
You walked over to them to see what he was looking at and when you realised, you pressed a kiss to his little forehead. " Is that you Calvin in aunty Cindy's sunglasses? Is it?" He laughed heartily making you smile and you and Cindy laughed along with him.
