Chapter 1

"Are you sure you don't want to go out with me and the girls tonight," my best friend Edna asked for what seemed like the hundredth time tonight.

"No, no, no. Damn how many times do you want me to repeat myself." I honestly was getting annoyed.

"Ok damn, relax girl. I won't ask again but you're really missing out on an amazing party." She replied and I honestly didn't care that the hottest pack guys were all going to be there.

"Don't you think I know that already.I don't feel up to it and plus I would rather stay and watch TV." It's not that I don't love parties, believe me I do but I really want to stay home today and catch up on the shows that I missed all because Edna decided to drag me wherever she went all this week.

By the way, my name is Leticia Adam Bellerose. I'm an eighteen year old werewolf originally from France, at least that's what my parents tell me. I'm part of the Black Shadow Pack and the Beta's daughter.

I live with my parents and my two siblings who are currently visiting my Grandparents in France, they'll be back in about a week's time. I didn't go with them because my dad insisted that since I'm in the middle of my second year of intense training, I need all to focus more on learning how to be a great fighter and warrior someday.

I didn't really agree with them but, my dad being the Beta of my pack and the best friend to the Alpha, he convinced him to use his Alpha command on me to make me stay which I believe is very unfair. I am currently living with Alpha Jason Demille who is also my best friends dad.

Edna Demille is my very best friend, we have known eachother since I moved to this pack from my uncle's pack three years ago. We bonded right away and since then we became besties. She is a beautiful girl with short black hair and about 5'4 with brown eyes.

I on the other hand I'm 5'6 with short black hair and dark brown eyes. I am quite a curvaceous girl who loves fashion. I mean who doesn't love fashion.

"Whatever suit yourself," she rolled her eyes at me and continued, "feel free to join the girls and I if you happen to get bored by yourself pretty quickly" she added and left the room heading downstairs.

"Trust me, I won't be bored."

"Au revoir mi amie" she shouted back from the living room before she slammed the door shut. Some best friend I have.

My Alpha and the Luna aren't home right now since they are at a meeting with our neighboring pack, they wouldn't be back until tomorrow.The third in command is now in charge because my dad isn't around. Edna's brother Tyler is also out with his buddies, I believe they went to a human party in the city. Leaving me in this big house all by myself.

The home phone rang when I was watching White Chicks on demand, I didn't feel like picking up because first, it was a little farther away from me and second of all, I just didn't want to pick it up. But I did either way "hello." I spoke up.

"Is this Jason?" the person on the other line questioned, his voice caught me off guard because I was expecting Alpha Jason or my dad to be the one calling.

"Does this voice sound like a Alpha Jason to you?" I questioned.

"Well since you're clearly not Jason how about you give the phone to him right this minutes," he replied rudely and from the way he spoke I could tell he was an Alpha. A rude and probably powerful one as a matter of fact because Alphas acknowledge each other by calling them Alpha before their first name but this one didn't have the manners to do so.

"Who are you if I may ask?" There was silence on the other side of the line, "hello?" I said.

"CAN YOU GIVE THE DAMN PHONE TO YOUR ALPHA AND STOP ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS." This insolent Alpha practically screamed in my ears and his abrupt anger got me scared
