Chapter 2 (Everyone Deserves To Be Loved)

"Alpha Leroy, Jordan Leroy." She replied, please don't tell me it's that douchebag who called earlier. I said to myself.

That guy is a rude and arrogant excuse of an Alpha, he hanged up on me, who does that to a person they've never met before.

"What the hell, why him? Do you know how evil he is? Do you think he would ever treat you right?" I was drawn out of my thoughts when Priscilla started bombarding Edna with these questions angrily.

Why does it seem like she hates him with such passion? I asked myself silently.

"I don't hate him, everyone knows he's the most ruthless Alpha to ever exist, and it is said that he was cursed by a witch to never love anyone except for her." Priscilla's voice was very loud and she was glaring at me.

Unlucky for me, I had voiced my thoughts out loud for them to hear. I've been doing that a lot lately.

"Okay, he's rude, ruthless and incapable of loving anyone except for this witch but why do you seem to be against the idea of Edna and him being mates." I asked feeling convinced that she didn't want Edna to be mated and happy like she was.

"I don't want my friend to be mated to someone who will never treat her right because first and foremost he can't ever love her. How can you be mated to someone who doesn't love you? And I'm not making this up because it is written in the GREAT ALPHA'S book."

This girl was seriously venting her frustration on me because she was yelling and it's not like we were having a heated argument."The book you, miss goody two-shoes refused to look at because you found werewolf history boring," she added angrily.

Hell no, this shewolf did not just say that to me.

"You despicable little jealous brat, you already have a mate so you don't know how it feels like to be mateless. I can't help but feel you wish you were the Alpha's daughter but lucky for us all you are not or else who knows, you would have been way bitchier than you already are." I retorted and glared at her with the same intensity she glared at me with.

Priscilla is a nice person but she is a real bitch with an attitude and I always wonder how her mate copes with her.

I was sick and tired of her attitude towards me because I wasn't being loud with her and we weren't talking about me so I don't know why she brought me into the equation.

Everyone was looking at me with their mouths wide open and the look of surprise on their faces except for Edna. No one had ever seen me this angry before, except for her. We all tolerated Priscilla's attitude but it was becoming unbearable and one of us needed to shut her up, it just happened to be me.

I don't feel bad about what I said as a matter of fact, I was still mad but as a good friend, I'll give her a fake apology later.

Walking out of the room, I slammed the door shut leaving to my parents house which was not far from the Alpha's house. On my way downstairs I met Tyler with a bottle of beer in his hand. "Hey Ty" I said grabbing the bottle from him gulping the rest of the beer.

Tyler is like an elder brother to me and I used to like him but eventually as we got closer, I got over it.

"Hey Leti, how you doing." He asked looking at me with cautious eyes, he definitely knew something was wrong because he's one of the few people who could read me.

"Not bad, I'm going to my parents house to spend the night." I told him.

"Yeah sure, do you wanna talk about why you seem upset" he asked but I shook my head. He opened his arms and I went in and gave him a tight hug, his hugs were the best.
