AN: This story was supposed to be longer but I had no motivation to write so I just changed the ending and went with no problem at the end (: /Matt

5 years old

Scott was 5 years old when it all started. Scott's mom met Mrs Lahey and brought Scott with her. Behind Mrs Lahey's left leg a boy stod who looked like just as old as Scott. He had dirty-blond hair and blue puppy eyes. He was a little bit taller than Scott. The moms laughed and talked and Scott thought it started to become boring so he walked over to the boy.

"Hi! I'm Scott." Scott said happily. The boy jumped a little by the sudden voice.

"H-hi, I'm Isaac." Isaac, Scott thought and registered it in his mind.

"Cool! Do you want to be friends?" Scott asked, still happy as before. Isaac's face lit up.

"Yes!" He answered and they went to the play ground and started playing.

Scott thought that Isaac's smile was lighter than the sun.

6 years old

Scott was 6 years old when he started his first day of school and he met up with Stiles. He had known Stiles one year longer than Isaac. The way they met, in the play ground by Stiles peeing on Scott's sand castle, was really weird and ironic but they didn't mind nor thought about. Scott walked towards the door with his best friend when he saw Isaac standing lonely and looking confused.

"Hey! Isaac!" He yelled to Isaac and when he caught Isaac's attention he called Isaac over.

"Hi, this is Stiles, my best friend." He said to Isaac.

"Uhh, hi, I'm Isaac." Isaac introduced himself, sounding a little scared as usual.

"Hi! I'm Stiles! Well, you already know that but whatever! Do you like Star Wars? It's my favourite film!" Stiles started rambling, happy that he made a new friend. On the other hand, Isaac looked pretty uncomfortable so Scott tried to ease up the conversation by suggesting that they should walk to their class. Isaac sent Scott a thankful smile and Scott returned the smile.

Isaac stayed happy the rest of the day with the thought of Scott's smile.

9 years old

Scott was 9 years old when Isaac's mom had just died and Isaac was a complete mess. Scott's mom was also a mess, she was sobbing very often because of Isaac's mom's death. One night, Scott decided to walk over to Isaac's to hang out when he heard screaming from Isaac's house. As a normal kid, Scott ran home scared and told his mom who did her best to comfort him. The next day Isaac didn't show up to school. Scott didn't mind too much, he had Stiles at least. The next day, Isaac came back with a black eye which Scott was very worried about. He asked several time about, everytime Isaac just brushed it off and changed topic. After the 10th times Scott stopped asking, but that didn't stop him from worrying.

The bruises didn't stop, they just continued showing up. There was multiply days the Isaac wasn't at school and Scott was just as scared that something would've happened to the blue eyed boy.

When Scott got home after school one day, he went straight ahead to his room and fell on his bed. He just laid there for what felt like months of just thinking about Isaac. He would always flinch and back away when Scott hugged him. Then Scott realized that it was because of all the bruises. Scott suddenly felt an ugre to protect Isaac so he made a reminder to himself;

"Protect Isaac at all costs."

15 years

Scott was 15 when Isaac had been gone for a week now. Scott didn't know where to start looking. He had asked Stiles to look with him after Isaac but Stiles declined to do help his dad with something. So, Scott started to look after Isaac by himself. He first went to Isaac's house. In fact, Scott had never been at Isaac's house, they always hung out at Scott's or Stiles's. Now, when he thought about it, it was a bit weird.

"What do you want? And why do you look like a drenched cat? Actually, no, I don't care." Scott jumped at the angry voice and realized he walked to the Lahey's household and knocked on the door without knowing it. Scott assumed it was Mr. Lahey. He had an angry and rough face. Also, he looked pretty old and not that strong.

"Uh- uhm, is Isaac ho-"

"No. Goodbye."

"Do you know wher-"
"No. I don't care." And with that the door was slammed in Scott's face and leaving a shocked Scott. Being the caring but stubborn ass Scott was he decided to walk himself in. He opened door slowly so the man that called himself Isaac's dad wouldn't hear him. He went then up to where he believed Isaac's room was. He carefully opened the door, not really expecting Isaac to be found in his room unbothered after being gone for a week, yet Scott was still disappointed when Isaac was no where to be found in his room. He was about to go walk out of the house when he heard a muffled screamed from the basement. Scott froze when he realized Isaac was the one screaming. Carefully Scott sneaked down to the basement and slowly opening the door, expecting the worst. He opened the door and- well, it wasn't the kind of worst he expected but this was even worse. Isaac was no where to be found. Scott closed the door behind him and started looking around in the rusty basement. He was so sure he had heard Isaac but he was nowhere to be found. At least so he thought until he heard a punching noise from the freezer behind him. Scott jumped and asked the freezer a "Hello? Is anyone there?".

"Sc- Scott? Is.. Is that you?" Scott heard and he ran to the freezer and knocked lightly on the side.

"Isaac? Isaac, are you there? Can you hear me?" He whisper-speaked as he tried to get the code lock up. It wasn't the easiest but with some luck, Scott managed to unlock it. Isaac exploded up out of the freezer and got into the corner of the room within a second. Wide open, Scott stood up and walked towards Isaac. The taller boy seemed so much smaller than he actually was. Scott hugged Isaac who hugged back like his life depended on it. The darker teen let him have a moment if he needed that.

17 years old [now]

Scott was 17 when everything took a big turn. He got bit, he fell in and out of love with Allison, he got to know how freaked out Stiles when he had a crush on both Lydia and Derek (which both turned out to be one-sided) and he fell in love with Isaac. To be honest, Scott was a bit freaked out when he realized he liked Isaac.

Scott sat down on his bed feeling upset. He didn't even know why, it was just something he couldn't place a finger on. Scott was so deep in thought he barely noticed Isaac jumping into Scott's room through the window. Isaac sat down beside him and Scott's heart started to beat faster.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Isaac spoke softly and looked so concerned that it made Scott lose everything. He threw himself in older boys arms and just cried. He probably looked pathetic but right now, it didn't matter. Isaac seemed a bit taken back by the action but held Scott tight. He rubbed small circels on Scott's back and whipsered sweet nothings into the other boys ear.

"I don't know." Scott said after he'd managed to calm down. "I feel like I'm not good enough for anyone. Ever." Another thing that Scott found out when he turned 17 was that he had Atelephobia. It was the fear of not being good enough.

"Hey, you're good enough. You may not be perfect but it's enough and more to me. I love your fucked up jaw, your puppy dog eyes, the way you care about everyone." Isaac grabbed Scott's chin and tilted it up so Scott's innocent brown eyes met Isaac's ice blue eyes. Scott's eyes looked on the blond's lips while Isaac continued to talk about all the small things he loved about Scott. Scott couldn't concentrate on the voice as he saw Isaac leaning in to kiss him. And Scott wasn't wrong, Isaac did kiss him. Scott melted into the kiss and Isaac's soft lips. They moved in perfect sync and just for the moment Scott forgot everything. Nothing did matter for the small moment. Scott's hand traveled mindlessly up to Isaac's hair and messed it up. Isaac pulled black gently leaving Scott wanting more. He laid the darker boy down on the bed. Scott looked up at him with his puppy dog eyes which was still red from crying. Isaac pulled Scott's hair away from his face and looked at him reassuring and smiled.

"It'll be alright. I'll be here when you wake up." Isaac said.

"You promise?" Scott asked gripping Isaac's arm incase he would suddenly leave.

"Yes. I promise I'll still be here. And I promise everything will be alright." And with that Scott dozed of to sleep.
