I ran into my dorm and flopped myself into my small bunk. I immediately got out my phone and rung my mum who was in America. My mum went to America when she was in her mid 20s to teach kids and met my dad there. Yup I was half Korean and half American. Which gave me a unique set of features. I had my dads pale skin, moms silky black hair, full lips and a skinny body and deep set eyes.
I had learned Korean from my mom at a young age and spoke it quite well but still had language lessons when I came to Korea.
I speed dialed my mom and screamed "omma, I'm going to debut"! I heard a gasp from my mom but she quickly congratulated me. I suddenly heard a knock on the door to find a yg staff look at me. "You have been called to yg-nims office. "Ne" I replied. I quickly fixed myself up and walked to yg office. It was my first time. I was greeted by PD-nim. "Rhiannon please take a seat" he said smiling warmly. I sat down and he proceeded to shuffle through some papers. " Rhiannon, you've only been here for less than 4 months however you're doing unbelievably well in training" "kamsahamnida" I replied.
Hence, the instructors and myself have decided that you'll would be the best fit for blackpinks next comeback next year". "Kamsahamnida but my vocals and rap aren't as good as some other trainees why pick me?" I asked him.
He looked up in disbelief. "Rhiannon your vocals and rap are definitely good but other trainees don't fit into blackpinks concept. Your unique features work well with blackpinks, Now we'll get your parents along next week or so to sign the contract but you can continue training in the dance area since the other instructors haven't been assigned yet. Oh and we're thinking of a stage name for you. Did you have any old nicknames back on America?" "Uhhh...my friends used to call me Chimi since it was my late pets name." I've got it! Let's call you Kiko it has a cute yet energetic vibe which I've heard you give off among the trainees. Do you like it?" Ne!! I said "I love it!" Great he said oh and you'll be moving into the balckpink dorm in a few months time. You can leave now" "Yes sir" I bowed and left running to my dorm to have yet another excited fit until I saw bisum and kyung waiting outside my room. "Aanyeonghaseyo unnies" I said "ne aanyeong they said without scowling. " Congrats they said we heard the news we're sorry about the dirty looks we gave during the evaluation it's just that we've been training for 6 years and we didn't get to debut but you were here lees than 4 months but managed to secure a place for evaluation. Mianhe. Gwenchana I replied. Unnies do you want to be my friends?" Of course!  they said.
Since then the three of us always hung out together.
