Gilbert awoke early the next morning to finish the picnic they were having. Gilbert had Francis arrange a beautiful spot to have a picnic just a little down the road from here. Gilbert had to finish packing the sandwiches. It only took five minutes so he decided to go upstairs and put the dress, Monaco (Francis’ sister) had picked out for Lili, on her door.
Gilbert quickly walked to Lili’s room and placed the dress onto the gold colored door knob, and knocked on the door and fled around the corner. He peered out to see Lili grab the dress, blush, and then pull it inside. Gilbert smiled to himself and waited a little longer until he saw Lili come out of her room dressed in the rosy-pink dress with a matching hair bow.
Gilbert went to his room and pulled on his white shirt with a black vest and black dress pants, which Monaco had also picked out, and soon Gilbert heard a light knocking coming from his door. He walked over and pulled the door open, smiling.
“Hey, you look nice.” Gilbert said and Lili turned a shade of red, blushing.
“Thanks, so do you. But why-“Lili started but Gilbert cut her off.
“Because the awesome me has an awesome surprise.” Gilbert said his smile growing wider.
“What is it?” Lili questioned softly.
“We are going on a picnic. Just the two of us.” Gilbert said and put Lili’s hand in his and led her to his car and they got in and drove away.
A/N: I know it's short, don't shoot me. I was going to split up the picnic scene from this chapter because I really haven't planned that yet but give me a couple days and I probably will have it. Or I might get an idea at like 12 in the morning you never know. lol :)
