As Lili and Gilbert stepped through the threshold Vash was there ready shot gun in hand.
“Where have you been?” He interrogated not so calmly.
“We went for a picnic Bruder calm down” Lili spoke calmingly.
“Yeah just a picnic Vash.” Gilbert added.
“Lili upstairs now!” Vash demanded. Lili obeyed and hurriedly trotted up the stairs.
“What did you do on this picnic?” Vash demanded.
“Hung out and played at the park.”Gilbert said quickly but confidently.
“Aren’t you a grown man?” Vash said poking a little fun at the Prussian.
“Yes but I enjoy some fun here and there unlike some people who can’t even play with their sister!” Gilbert retorted.
“You’re out pack your bags!” Vash screamed causing Lili to come barreling down the stairs at those words.
“BRUDER! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!! YOU CAN’T KICK GILBERT OUT!!” Lili screamed, shocking both men.
“And why not?” Vash said tapping his foot in annoyance.
“Because….” Lili started but stopped.
“Go on.” Vash demanded.
“Because……” Lili paused again,”Because I LOVE him!”
This shocked both men and even Lili into silence. They all just stared at each other, the silence awkward and smothering.
