This is about my original world so skip if ya want

If you are interested and have not read Chapter 2 of Narration I'd recommend reading that first!

So...

I'm going to talk about the seven main characters and then I'm gonna skip ahead and do some things, okay?

Okay.

Wren: The main protagonist of Rarek stories. Wren is the last of the Reu, who are Guardians of the Time Gate, an iron gate that leads to other worlds. He lives in the Time Forest on the east outskirts of Xanthias, close to the Galicia / Xanthias border. A girl named Cassia is his only companion, and he is in love with her, but she does not return his affections now. Wren's family was killed by exiled Xanthian Queen Corona, the main antagonist in Rarek, but Wren does not know this and believes they will come back someday. Wren acquires Animus magic, which is something only a Reu can wield, just before hearing that Xanthias Castle is under attack by the villainess Marauder. He and Cassia rush to the castle to save the king, who Marauder is attempting to murder. He begs Marauder to stay her hand and not to murder her father, exposing her identity to him and all others in the throne room.

Cassia: Wren's future wife — I mean, an archer who lives with Wren in the Time Forest. She was adopted by her Xanthian family as an infant, but does not know this. Quite a few months ago, she was convicted of being a witch [ magic users are illegal in Xanthias, with the exceptions of the royal family ], and graciously sentenced to life in a prison camp, the silver mines of Ganthra, on the west outskirts of Xanthias. She escaped due to the sympathies of a knight named Armand who was stationed there a week after her arrival. He was convicted of treason when she escaped. Cassia found herself in the Time Forest and stayed with Wren. She suspected that his family was dead, but hasn't said anything on the matter. When Wren begged her to help him save the Xanthian king, she immediately took up her bow and arrows to help him. This battle leads to a curious question on Cassia's background when she unknowingly takes up a sword that can only be wielded by those with royal blood...

Marauder: Marauder is Princess Selena Xanthias IV, the heir to the Xanthian throne. The magical blood she has is corrupting her, and has turned her into the villain Marauder — a powerful pawn of Queen Corona. She has tried many times to rid her world of Wren, the only person stopping her mother from opening the Time Gate, but has failed on all accounts — mostly due to Cassia, who she loathes. Not long after her father calls a meeting between the three countries of Rarek, she decides she has had enough of her father's weakness and lays siege to the castle with Queen Corona's summoned monsters — and does this without Corona's blessing. Wren and Cassia emerge from the front of the castle, her childhood friend Armand, Legacy, Garland from the right and her betrothed, Prince Octavian of Galicia, from the left. Seeing she is outnumbered, Marauder calls upon more dark power to aid her. Wren begs her to reconsider, not to kill her father, and her identity is confirmed to everyone in the room.

Armand: A few years ago, a mob of angry Xanthians led a siege on Armand's family manor. His left hand was severely burned, and due to this, his progression through the Xanthian knightly ranks came to an abrupt halt. He was assigned to a simple yet gruesome place, the silver mines of Ganthra. Saying goodbye to his childhood friend, Princess Selena, he accepted his fate. However, seeing the cruelty of the mines [ especially on a certain feisty red haired girl ] convinced him of the wrongness of the current Xanthian king. He aided Cassia Fletcher in escaping and was convicted of treason. This prompted Marauder to quickly aid him, and she escorted him to the western kingdom of Legate, exiling him there. Armand realized what Selena had become and was deeply grieved — but did not despair. He instantly began searching for a cure to free Selena of her cursed and corrupted blood. He met Legate's High Mage [ ...in training ] Legacy Storna and her companion Garland Eskravel in Legate, who began to help him in his quest for the cure. They found a lead about the Animus magic of the Reu, but before they could trace it, Legacy received a dire vision from her ancestor, Arcante, showing Xanthias Castle under attack. The three instantly headed back to see that the premonition was true. Armand led the fight against the monsters from the east wing. Once in the throne room, he refused to fight Marauder, saying he knew that Selena was still in there somewhere. He would not fight the one he loved.

Legacy: One of the two famous wielders of divine Arca light magic. Every 50 years in Legate, a child is born blessed with this gift — but Legacy is the first ever to be a direct descendant of the woman who first used it [ Arcante ] who coincidentally also founded the country of Legate as the first... First Consul. That sounds a little confusing, sorry. Arcante also passed down to Legacy the unique gift of visions, but these can be good or bad, real or misleading. Legacy is training with the other, older user of Arca magic so that she may take his place one day as High Mage of Legate. The current First Consul, Yelia, assigned Garland Eskravel to protect Legacy. When Armand, known in Legate as Scorch due to his burned hand, came looking for a cure for cursed blood, Legacy took an interest and began to help him out. Garland was chagrined and displeased at first, but she convinced him to help as well. Just after they found a lead, Legacy experienced her first vision from Arcante herself, showing Xanthias Castle in danger. Armand immediately set off for his homeland and Legacy wouldn't let him go alone, dragging Garland to the castle with them. Her Arca magic proved to be extremely strong against the monsters they found there, but unfortunately, Marauder could repel Arca magic with ease.

Garland: Even at a young age, Garland was considered to be extremely brilliant when it came to airships. Now, he is the captain of his own airship and personal guardian to the next High Mage of Legate, Legacy Storna. While a little flirtatious at times, he is pretty serious about keeping the reckless Legacy safe, which annoys her greatly. He and First Consul Yelia are old friends and he only agreed to protect Legacy because of a debt he owes Yelia. When meeting "Scorch" or Armand, he is greatly concerned for the ex-knight's motives. After a few days around Armand, though, he finds that the two are somewhat similar and begins to trust him. When Legacy has her first vision, he realizes that she must be a direct descendant of Arcante as Yelia once suspected. Greatly worried for her, he only agrees to travel with them to Xanthias Castle because Legacy is set on going. Like the name of his airship, he prefers to use a javelin in battle against the monsters.

Octavian: Octavian is the prince of Galicia, the east kingdom. He has been in Xanthias trying to mediate things with King Leopold Xanthias to avoid war. The boy is a healer but because of tensions between Legate and Galicia, he has been told by his father to keep his magic hidden always. Octavian was betrothed to Princess Selena shortly after he was born, but regrettably fell for one of Galicia's most fiery spies, named Treina. When Xanthias Castle was attacked by Marauder, he was in the west wing and began to fight his way down to the throne room, using his sword that could only be wielded by those of royal blood. Once in the throne room, he was battling the last of the monsters when one jumped him from behind. Cassia Fletcher leapt into the fray and grabbed his sword, using it to repel the monster. He was shell-shocked, but then Wren begged Marauder not to kill her father — and he was even more shell-shocked to recognize his betrothed as the villainess.

After Wren exposed Marauder's identity, she was infuriated. The girl lunged at Wren with her knives, attempting to end his life once and for all. Wren held up his hands and his Animus magic activated to protect him. As it came into contact with Marauder, she instantly fell unconscious.

A few days later, Marauder was gone. In her place was the delicate and horrified Princess Selena, restored to her former self. She was escorted out of the dungeons after a while, when the king realized all that had happened and that his daughter was herself again. Armand stayed by her side the entire time.

King Leopold pardoned both Armand's treason and Cassia's "witchcraft", claiming instead that the six who had gathered to aid him were heroes. However, there was still Corona to deal with. Selena tearfully explained her mother's plan to seize the Time Gate, and the six agreed to work together to try to stop her. Selena wished them luck... but Armand would have none of it. He insisted that she come with them. It was her fight too, he said, and she deserved to have the chance to fight back against her mother for all she had done to Selena.

It took quite a lot of convincing by both Armand and Octavian, but eventually Selena joined the group, much to Cassia's displeasure. The seven set off to find any sort of clue on how to defeat the evil Corona, and where she had gotten her dark powers...

Tada!

I hope that wasn't too long, geez.

But everything's finally together and I'm really, really proud of it. :D
