There are more than a hundred of us, all around the world. None know their true story of their birth, who they really belong to, who really gave them life. You can't take a single stroll without bumping into at least one of us. They don't know each other, but I know them all. Most of us were given away others got kept, I however got stuck with the devil.
My father is a bad man feared by many woman and hated by many men. He uses woman and afterwards says he helped them. Saying if it wasn't for him that certain woman would've never given new life to the world. He's crazy and always drunk.
Him and my mother fell in love, the only lady he actually cared for. Just like always he started off by tricking her, than using her, but than saw something he's never seen before in her. He fell in love she fell in love, she became scared. Told the cops his secret. She had me, he killed her. Long story short my father killed my mother and raised me.
My name is Claire, last name unknown. My father doesn't tell his name, not even to me. So it'll be Claire Unknown forever. I want to run away but I can't. He keeps me here and makes me believe it's my choice. When thoughts of leaving come he makes them leave. I'm stuck. Always have been, always will be.
I was walking down an alleyway when this story started, but beware it's a pretty harsh and intense one.

I walked down the dark alleyway to the light, I always dreamed someday the light would consume me and take me to a better place, but it never did. I exited the darkness and was surrounded by the lights in the city. I sat on a bus stop bench waiting. Every Monday and Thursday I sat and waited at this stop. The bus pulled up as I put my hood over my face. Out walked many people old and young, boy and girl. Than came out a dashing girl with deep brown hair wearing a black button up with a black skirt and black high heels.
Sat next to me was the girl's boyfriend, Travis. He got up and give her a tight hug she hugged back than they kissed. I watched wishing this was my life. They did this 'routine' every Monday and Thursday and I would sit and watch. Nothing made me feel better than watching my siblings have a good life. This girl is named Avery, a pregnant twenty-four year old who had the pleasure of never knowing who her father truly is.
"Hi." She smiled, "The bus drove away but I'll be happy to give you a ride."
I shook my head, "No that won't be necessary."
"I see you here every time I ride the bus home. Why is it that you never go on the bus or accept a ride from somebody?" She asked.
Travis put his hand on Avery's shoulder, "We shouldn't bug her with this."
Avery ignored him, "Well?" she asked me.
I shrugged, "I don't know. I'm not going anywhere I just like to sit."
Avery looked like she wanted to continue but Travis wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her away. I got up and ran home. That was the first time she had ever talked to me or even noticed me, and I've been sitting there watching her for a couple of years now.
I started walking when I reached my neighborhood. The old, dead neighborhood. Use to be bright and colorful: the perfect little place to start a family. No one comes here now, all the dead yards and broken houses are proof of that.
I opened the door to my house and saw my dad and woman on the rocking chair. He was holding her close kissing her neck. Her leg was across my dad's belly that was very strong and fit, and she was running her fingers down his face. The same old greeting I get, so it was pretty normal except every time it was a different girl and this one was the same he had last week.
I quietly closed the door and walked up the stairs to my room. My house was pretty small. It was a two story and the kitchen and living room were downstairs, they were connected and only separated by different flooring and the stairs. The stairs were only wide enough to fit one person. The upstairs was basically like bigger house's attic. The roof was arched and so close to the ground that my dad could put up his hand and touch the roof, and he wasn't very tall.
I went into my tiny room. All I had was a small one person bed that you would have a child sleep on. The sheets was a big black blanket that wrapped around the bed. I had one pillow that had no pillow case. The only other thing in my room was a mirror hanging on the closet door. There were sliding doors that opened a small space with clothes neatly hanged on the only hanger bar. I only had three outfits. One for winter, one for summer, and one for spring and fall. Although sometimes I wear them on different season's.
There was a knock on my door before it came flying open. It was my dad, he was holding something in a thin black bag that was hung up on a hanger.. "This is yours I want you to wear it whenever I have company. He threw the bag onto my bed, slammed the door, and walked downstairs.
I went and opened it, in it was a short black dress, with a white apron. A maid's dress. He wants me to be a maid. I took it off its hanger before changing out of the outfit I was wearing. An outfit I actually bought for myself with the money a woman gave me thinking I was a beggar. I threw my clothes on the floor and got changed into the maid's dress.
I noticed there was a note on the bag, it read, 'Wear this when there is company and act like a maid whenever you have this on.'
Great not only does he want me to look like a maid he wants me to act like one too.
I went door the stairs. My dad and the lady were on the couch now, she was on top of him kissing each other intensely. I went to the kitchen and turned on the stove. I poured water into a pan then put the pan on the stove. I heard giggling from the woman as I cooked. I feel bad for her, falling for my dad. Oh well, her fault for being dumb.
It took a while but I finally finished the spaghetti. I got a plate all dished up than set candles on the table. Two seats, one plate, candles, just how my father likes it. I dished myself a bowl then went up stairs. I caught a glimpse of my father and the woman, the woman was still on top of him but this time his shirt was lying on the floor.
I went to my room, climbed out my window, and sat on the roof eating my spaghetti. My lonely life will never change. I will always be alone.
