To make things clear about Avery. She was a young child when Claire's mom came to her family. Like her mom and dad and siblings family. I read over the book again and noticed how confusing the last chapter was with all the Avery taking care of Claire as a baby stuff. So I wanted to clear it up. As a young child Avery took care of a infant than was threatened so she gave the infant back to the infant's parent. Meaning Claire and George. If you have anymore questions let me know and I will be quick to answering them. Thanks! Now! To the story!

  Avery's POV:

I arrived at the hospital as quick as I could after getting the call from the police. I ran in and they showed me to her room. There she was, laying alive as her life was drained. I fell into tears. The young baby I held in my hands as a child was now on the bridge of death. I wasn't ready to say goodbye, I just said hello! I finally returned to her life and the big man expects me to say goodbye. To let go what has finally been returned.

I sat there on the floor of the hospital room crying my heart out. I couldn't move, I couldn't speak. I felt like I was the one dying.

   Claire's POV:

"Okay." I hung up and put my phone down. I looked up in time to see my car crash into someone elses at a stop light. The front of the car hit the back of the strangers. Another car behind me ran into me. My car was basically smashed in half. It was a late reaction but the airbag came out and nearly crushed me. The scars from George busted open and started bleeding again. My head got dizzy and the next thing I knew I was in a dark alleyway. The dark alleyway.

I was beyond confused, but I was calm. I kept walking waiting to see the light. It came almost suddenly, it was blinding but I kept walking forwards. It was like every other walk down the alleyway to the bus stop. Except this time I knew it wasn't the bus stop that I was going to it was death.

I kept walking when the light disappeared a man's voice came to me, "I'm sorry. It isn't your time."

My eyes bursted open. I heard crying, and whines for the big man not to take me. That I needed more time. I realized whoever's crys those were. They were heard.

I looked around. I was in a hospital, hooked up to breathing tools. My heart beat was slowed but went back to normal as soon as I woke up. At least, that's what the machine says. I groaned. The scars on my back still hurt like crazy and my head was stinging.

The sobs turned to joy as my visitor came close to me. I looked and saw who it was.

"Hi Avery." I said smiling ignoring the pain it brought.

Avery smiled back, "Hi. How ya feeling?"

"My hand hurts. Same with my back."

Avery nodded, "Okay. I'll go get the doctor. You hold on okay?"

"K." I knew what she meant she wanted me to hold on to whatever life was left in my body. I didn't want to, but I will for her. I finally found out somebody actually cared for me, and I wasn't going to let that go. No matter how hard I have to fight.

  I'm finally, not alone.
