I slam my hand onto my alarm.
"Ugh..what time is it? Did I over sleep?" I said with a strain in my voice. I looked at my alarm and the time was 6:36 am.
"Oh only 6 minutes." I said with relief. I turn over to my side and to my surprise I saw two rubber duckies.
"IS THEIR A RUBBER DUCKIE WIZARD THAT LIVES IN MY HOUSE?" I asked.
"Oh wait no I left them there last night." I said feeling really stupid. I get out my bed. I slouch over to the bathroom.
"Shower??" I ask to myself.
"Nah I'm fine without a shower." I said. I get my toothbrush and some toothpaste. I turn the faucet and put my toothbrush under it. I then put toothpaste on my toothbrush and start brushing my teeth. I then spat out the paste and gargled some water.
"My teeth are now nice and clean." I said with a smile. I splash some water on my face thinking I look like one of those girls in those beauty commercials. I spat some water out my mouth.
"I probably looked stupid during that." I said. I walk over to my room and then to my wardrobe.
"What to wear..," I asked,"THIS ONE!" I said as I picked out a t-shirt and some sweatpants. I then grabbed the rest of the clothes that I had already left from the night before and changed into them.
"All right I'm ready for school!" I said happily. Then just then I realized I forgot to do my math homework from yesterday.
"AHHH MY HOMEWORK CRAP!" I said nervously.
"WHERE IS IT, WHERE IS IT, WHERE IS IT???" I repeated. I looked in my bag and saw it there.
"Phew..." I said with relief.
"Okay since I have homeroom then English then I have.. Math.." I said.
"Okay I'll do it on the bus ride and in homeroom." I planned to myself.
"Yeah! That is a A+ plan." I said with glee. I saw the time and I ran downstairs with my stuff. I grabbed an apple and then grabbed my jacket. I put on my jacket and zip it up. I bite my apple repeatedly trying not to waste time.
"Sweatie why in such a big time rush?" My mom asked.
"Because," I finish chewing my apple piece,"I want to see my friend on the bus and at school." I replied with.
"Oh okay just don't choke on that apple." She said with worry in her voice. I nodded to answer back.
"Okay Mom I'll be heading outside to wait for the bus!" I said.
"But it's only 7:10" She said. I instantly stopped. I turned around.
"...But my clock said..7:15.." I said with shock.
"Ahaha," she laughed at me," I'll change your clock when your at school just eat the apple." she said. I nod back again to answer her. I did two big bites of the apple and then threw it out.
"HEY! That is a waste of an apple." She said with a frown.
"Sorry Mom just didn't feel like finishing it." I said with sorry in my voice.
"You have everything you need, correct?" She asked me.
"Yes mom, you don't need to panic about me every second of your life." I replied.
"Oh I'm sorry dear just your getting so old." She said.
"Oh It's 7:23, you should head out." She said.
"AH Okay!" I said as I ran over to the door. I open it and head out. The bus comes and I hop on and sit next to my friend, Jake.
"So.. did you text her?" He asked me instantly.
"Well uhm..okay so..I, okay so.." I said trying to get words out of my mouth but it just wasn't working.
"Just answer the question." He said.
"Yesssss." I said as i made a face just saying, " I lied." He gave me this sad look, like he thought I was gonna text her or something?
