"So what are you gonna say back?" Jake said.
"Well duh I'm uh." I said.
"I'm gonna say yes!"I said with full confidence.
"Okay then text yes." He said.
"Right now? Like right right now?" I ask.
"Yes." He said. I started to type yes and then I sent it to her. Both of us were scared of what's gonna happen next.
DING
"What did she say?" He asked.
"She said, "Cool. How about tomorrow or the weekend?" I said.
"Cool does that mean I can come?" He asked.
"WHAT NO THIS IS MY CHANCE WITH HER NOT YOURS!" I screamed.
"Geez you act like you like her or something." He said annoyed. I was shocked by what he said because OF COURSE I DON'T LIKE HER I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN HER FACE YET LIKE WHAT TYPE OF LOGIC IS THAT!
"Well I don't." I said.
"Okay then respond to her." He said.
"FINE I WILL" I said like an angry child. I texted her, "The weekends are fine! How about Saturday?" Jake peeks over my shoulder to see what I texted her.

I look at my phone and I see, "Okay what time and what place?"
"SHE ASKED WHAT TIME AND WHAT PLACE!" I said panicked.
"My house, 3:00pm." He said very relaxed.
"HOW ARE YOU SO RELAXED?" I yelled at him.
"She's my friend. Unlike you I have some standards." He said with a look that said to go away. I just felt betrayed.
"Well if you wanna play dirty I'll set it up as a DATE" I said. Jake just looked at me like I wasn't his friend or I was a stranger.
"Fine. If you get the balls to do that then we'll stay friends and if you don't we aren't friends." He said with a death stare.
"Don't be childish we have been friends for around 2 years! You let this throw all of that out the window?" I said with rage. He didn't respond and he walked off with his hands in his jacket.
"FINE! WALK AWAY! I DON'T NEED YOU ANYWAYS!" I smacked the air because I wanted to look tough but I knew I looked stupid. I text Alice, "At my house and at 2:00pm."

She said," Alright sounds good I'll meet you there!" I don't know why I suddenly realized I just got A DATE! Well kind of I just told her to meet me at my house.
