A few days have passed since the convention and everything was nice. Mine and Levi's relationship was going great and it seemed like him and Jake have gotten along a little better. I'm really glad about that.
So here we are now, relaxing in the living room, looking at Attack on Titan memes. Erwin laughed at his eyebrows memes but Levi wasn't a big fan about the memes of him being so short. I hadn't noticed until now but I was getting a little hungry.
"Hey guys, do you want to go to the mall and get lunch at the food court?" I asked. They all nodded in agreement. "Okay then. Let's get ready."
Hanji and I were about to head up to my room when somebody stopped me. I turned back around.
"Oh, Levi. Do you need something?" I asked with a smile.
"U-um...I was just wondering if you, um..." He stuttered, obviously a bit flustered.
"Yeah?" I gently urged him on. He looked away with a blush on his cheeks.
"If you would like to go on a date with me." He asked. I was a little surprised at first and blushed.
"Of course." I said. He looked up and smiled.
"Alright, well how does 6pm tomorrow sound?" He asked.
"That sounds perfect."
"Great."
We exchanged a quick hug and went our separate ways to go get ready.

"Emma can I pleeeeeaaaaase do your makeup?!" Hanji asked rather excitingly.
I was currently getting ready for my date with Levi. I didn't know what he was planning, he said it was a surprise. He said it wasn't anything too fancy so I didn't have to dress up like that. I wore some dark jeans, a nice shirt and some flats. My hair was loosely curled.
"Hanji, he said it wasn't anything fancy." I told her, putting on my watch as usual.
"I won't go overboard so pleeeeaaaase?!?!" She asked again, practically begging. I sighed.
"Fine."
"Yay!!!" She exclaimed. "Come sit!"

"Wow, Hanji. This looks amazing!" I said while observing the makeup job she had just done on me. It was very natural, yet classy enough for a date.
"I told you!" She said rather proudly.
Then something hit me. This was my first date. What if I do something wrong? What if I embarrass myself? Or embarrass him? What if I make his feelings for me change? What if-
"Hey, Emma. Are you okay? Your hands are shaking." Hanji pointed out, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oh, yeah. I'm just a little bit nervous. This is my first date and I don't want to mess it up." I told her, looking down. She came over to me and put her hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eyes.
"Emma, you're going to be fine. Levi really likes you and it doesn't matter if you mess up, his feelings won't change one bit. You knows how he is." She assured me.
"Thanks, Hanji." I smiled. "I better get going." As if on cue, there was a knock on my bedroom door.
"Go get him!" Hanji said and pushed me towards the door. I giggled.
I opened the door to find a casual but yet classy looking Levi on the other side. I giggled. "Hey, Levi."
"Hey, Emma. You look nice." He said with a slight blush.
"Thank you. You do, too." I replied, blushing a bit myself.
"Shall we go?" He asked, holding out his hand to me.
"Sure." I said and took his hand. We walked out of the room but not before we heard Hanji yelling to us "Have fun!"
We walked out to my car and he told me where to drive. When we stopped, we were at the bottom of the cliff that I often go to. To get there, we still had to go up the hill.
"Now, I'm going to need you to close your eyes." Levi instructed.
"Why?" I questioned.
"You'll see." He winked with a smile and got out of the car. I got out and followed his instruction to close my eyes. He held my hand and I felt ourselves going up the hill.
We finally came to a stop and it took Levi a second before he instructed me any further. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." He said and I did. I gasped.
Laid out before me on the cliff was a blanket and a picnic. It looked like Levi had made it all himself which made me kind of happy.
"Levi, did you do all this?" I asked, turning to face him.
"Well, I had a little help coming up with the plan from the guys, but mainly yes." He said. "And also, these are for you." He held out a beautiful bouquet of red roses from behind his back. I took them and stared at them and then back at him.
"This is all perfect. Thank you, Levi." I said and gave him kiss.
"You're very welcome." He smiled and we went down to eat. The picnic consisted of sandwiches, fruit and cookies. All of it looked homemade.
While we ate, we just talked about random things. Once we were done, we laid down on the blanket, hand-in-hand, and looked up at the stars.
"The stars sure are beautiful tonight, aren't they?" I commented.
"Yeah, they are." He replied with a small smile. We continued gazing up at the stars but something just didn't feel right.
"Hey, Levi?" I asked.
"Hm?" He replied.
"When do you think you'll have to go back? You know, to your own world?" I asked, looking over to him.
"Why are you wondering?" He asked, looking to me.
"I don't know I just... don't really want you to leave... but I know you have to." I said while a few tears escaped my eyes.
"Hey." He said while wiping my tears away. "We'll deal with that when it comes to it. And besides, we'll always be in each other's hearts, right? So we've got nothing to worry about. Let's just enjoy tonight and not worry about anything else."
"You're right. Thanks, Levi." I smiled at him.
"My pleasure." He smiled back and leaned in for a kiss. We stayed like that for as long as we could before we had to separate for air.
"Hey, Emma."
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
