------------Chapter 11------------
~Omniscient View~
Victoria and Arsen got into their fighting stances. They quickly charged at each other, it was like they just passed over each other but...
CRACK
Victoria's katana broke into tiny pieces. It was shattered! Victoria's eyes widened, as wide as a golf ball. Her iris grew small like a simple dot of a sharpen pencil.
"H-H-Ho-How-How?", she stammered still looking at the shattered blade with same expression.
"Someday, I'll teach you.", Arsen said without looking back at her.
"Huh? Tears? Why?", Victoria said noticing something wet in her eyes.
"That blade is Gift Of A Sadist. From your older brother. Your last remembrance from him. Maybe when Arsen broke it, the anger in your heart that hated Gale cleared up that caused your hidden love for him to take-over without you noticing. That only means that even if your older brother became a jerk to you, you still love him cause he's your beloved older brother.", Nakara said from the necklace. Victoria's body reacted by itself and quickly drew out the demon spell book. She opened it and quickly ran through each page.
"Why?", she mumbled still in tears.
"Your body is moving in it's own because of your love for him. You should now open your eyes, Mistress.", Nakara said still from the necklace. "You loved your brother, you just didn't see it because you were blinded by your anger."
"A Restoration spell?", Victoria said as she set her eyes to the page where her fingers stopped.
"So that you can restore the sword to its former glory.", Nakara explained.
Victoria didn't hesitate, she had open her eyes and saw that she did love her older brother somehow. She knelt down and chanted something then the sword was back to the way it was. A tear from her eye fell to the sword's blade.
"I miss him...", she mumbled. She suddenly remembered something...
"I should not miss him. He's just around the corner, I bet.", Victoria snickered then smirked. She stood up, wiping away her tears and sheathed her sword.
"Let's go home, it's already 2 pm.", Arsen called.
Someone was actually spying at them, he hid in a nearby tree that actually had a view of what Victoria and Arsen was doing.
"I've got enough evidence of her and Shiro's true relationship.", the mysterious man said to his ear walkie-talkie.
[Obviously, first, the one in Segran Street then the blade you identified, it's descriptions are same as Shiro's sister's.]
"You better not tell him!"
[Yeah, I won't. Later.]
Meanwhile~~~
"It's the first time I see you staring at that for 10 whole minutes now.", Arsen said.
"Yeah...", Victoria trailed off.
"Why?", Arsen suddenly asked. "You looked so sad when I shattered it and you immediately restored it."
"It's because if you haven't shattered it, I wouldn't have known that I still love my brother.", Victoria smiled at Arsen. Which caused Arsen to smile back at the little lass. Victoria's smile became a frown and she looked down.
"But, does he still love me? I mean, he left me in the church-"
"You should ask him that.", Arsen interjected. Victoria looked straight then she sighed.
"Yeah, I just wish he did that to protect me like what he did to henjin an-", she covered her mouth. 'Crap, that slipped. I totally hate it when I open up!', she scolded herself.
"Henjin what?", Arsen looked at Victoria.
"Nothing nothing. I was going to say... Ant... Yeah ant!", Victoria's mentally face palmed herself while gesturing Arsen to wave it off. 'You're such a terrible liar.', she scolded herself.
"O~kay?", Arsen said in a quite questioning way and he looked straight. Victoria sighed.
'Wonder how that weird brother of mine is doing...', she thought. Then a frown appeared on her face and her fist balled. 'I just wish his damn dead already.', she thought. She felt she wanted to kick someone in his berries or punch her in her safe haven.
"Oi, you okay?", Arsen noticed the girl beside her than Victoria calmed down and said, "I'm good.", "We're already here."
Victoria walked inside the house. 'Something's bothering her.', he thought.
Victoria immediately walked to her room than she lied in her bed and put her hand in her chest.
"Cold Heartedness Can Blind You."
