Something wet and heavy with the weight of water fell onto Louis' face, causing him to sit up frantically. He heard Harry's distinctive laugh as he peeled off the damp towel. Louis sucked in a breath when he saw Harry in the outfit he had approved, but he snapped himself out of his daze and replaced the amazed look in his eyes with a slight grimace. "Harry! That's disgusting!" He threw the towel onto the floor as Harry snickered.

"You looked very deep in thought, Lou." Harry smirked, wiping a drop of water off of his porcelain cheek. "I was making sure you were still alive! I never see that expression on you, mate!" Louis threw him a dirty look before breaking into that smile that Harry could never get use to.

There was a comfortable silence that fell over the room while Harry tried to contain the curls that were now flattened against his forehead. Louis laid on the bed, listening to the hum of the blow dryer, and stared at the ceiling. A content smile made itself home on his lips as he thought to himself; this is how it's suppose to be. The relaxing feeling that had once filled his entire body was violently ripped apart. Eleanor.

Harry sat on the floor with his legs folded underneath him as he tried to dry his hair. He twisted a piece of semi-dry hair around his pointer finger and examined his appearance in the full length mirror. The jungle of curls had basically dried, but some water still dripped down the back of his neck. He noticed how quiet Louis had become, which is highly unlike the Doncaster boy considering he was usually a ball of energy, and glanced up in the mirror at the body laying on his bed. The younger teenager's stomach dropped as he noticed the scowl that had replaced the smile on Louis' face. He hated seeing Louis upset and his face immediately morphed to match his expression.

"What's wrong, Louie?" Harry spoke at the mirror, not removing his eyes from his best friend's face.

Louis propped himself up onto his elbows and caught Harry's baby green eyes through the reflective surface, a glint of worry hidden within their beautiful depths. He hesitated, thoughts of how the two had first met spreading a smile across his lips before vanishing quickly. He fell back on the bed, sighing heavily. "Eleanor."

Harry felt the burn ignite within him once again at the mention of her name. He rolled his eyes and shifted uncomfortably. "What's wrong with her?" He coughed the annoyed tone out of his words the best he could.

She's not you. Louis swallowed his thoughts before responding. "Nothing, she's just upset with me."

Harry turned around and knelt beside the bed, folding his arms on top of the blanket and laying his head onto them. "What could my Boo Bear have done wrong?" Harry asked studying the features on Louis' face which had now shifted into annoyance.

"My mum called her before I got a chance to about the Brit Awards, and now she's all pissed off because I forgot to call her. I was gonna call her eventually..." Louis sighed, placing an arm behind his head.

The fire started up towards Harry's chest as he saw the hurt cross over Louis' face quickly. Harry didn't particularly like Eleanor and she wasn't a fan of  Harry. She always made sarcastic comments towards the moppy headed boy when she should've been thanking him instead. If it wasn't for Harry, she would've never gotten to Louis. One of Harry's many mistakes. "Family first, right?" Harry asked and watched Louis nod his head, never looking away from the ceiling. "Then she's overreacting." He stood up, mentally cursing Eleanor's very existence. How can he even like her? He walked out of the room with a facial expression unknown to Harry Styles.

Louis sat up at the sudden disappearance of Harry and heard his heavy footsteps on the stairs. Was that jealousy in those green eyes? Louis hurried out of the room after the curly haired boy. He threw a quick glance over his shoulder at the picture one last time before shutting the door behind him.
