The next day was spent just hanging at the beach. Tony unleashed his 2 jet skis and 1 speed boat, open to any who would like to ride. He also has a surf board, a paddle board, and a kayak. An instructor from the place his family bought the equipment from dropped by and taught them how to properly drive the jet ski and the speed boat, and everyone went to try besides Natasha and Maria. They would rather just be passengers than drivers so they let the rest take those lessons.
They were all huddled up by the jet skis when they finished their lessons, deciding on who would go first. Steve called dibs on one of the jet skis and Sam got the other one, getting ready to drive Maria. No one wanted to ride with Steve so he figured he'd go alone.
"Wait," he stopped in the middle of starting to drive. "Natasha come with me! This will be fun!"
"What? No! I'm not too sure about your driving skills just yet," Natasha teased.
"Aw come on, did you not see me when I practiced earlier! I was already good!" Steve insisted.
"Yeah, good at being bad," Tony joked. Steve shot him a dirty look. Tony held his hands up, "Hey, I'm just sayin'. Your turn earlier almost catapulted you off the jet ski."
"That's an accident! My next one was smooth." Steve huffed. He turned to Natasha, eyes pleading. "Come on, Nat, I don't want to go alone. Please, do you trust me?" he asked, holding out his hand for her to take.
She sighed and took his hand. "Fine, but if my head touches that water, you bet I'll kill you before you even drown," she joked lightly and wore a life vest before taking a sit behind Steve.
"Hold on tight!" he called out, slowly starting out the engine and moving away from the shore. Natasha held onto the bars next to her seat. Steve accelerated quickly all of a sudden and they were thrust forward, the jet ski going on a fast speed. Natasha instinctly held on to Steve's torso to steady herself, shocked by the sudden force.
"STEVE I'M GONNA KILL YOU" Natasha yelled after getting over the fact that she almost fell.
"I TOLD YOU TO HOLD ON TIGHT, THIS JET SKI IS BUILT TO GO FAST, IF WE GO SLOW THE WAVES WILL TURN US OVER" Steve yelled back. Natasha had no choice but to hold onto Steve tighter, fearing she'll fall. Once they got over the scary part, Steve went faster and they were farther from the beach, going in circles and making sharp turns.
Natasha can't help but squeal happily. "Woohooo, lets go faster!" She urged, tugging on Steve.
"Don't kill me if you fall!" Steve called, grinning. He got a hang of it already; faster when driving straight and slowing down when turning. Once in a while he would make sharp turns and Natasha would scream, but not really out of fear. She has a pretty tight grip on Steve that she's sure if she falls, so will he.
They were driving around for almost 25 minutes when the jet ski began to beep; a sign that they're almost out of fuel. "Awww," Natasha whined softly, "we have to go back!"
"That's okay, lets just make this fun!" Steve said, speeding up even faster as they make their way back. They were both hollering and squealing as adrenaline rushed through them. When they got back, the two were laughing so hard, the rest gave them weird looks.
"The fuck are you guys laughing about?" Tony asked, squinting at them. "And what took you so long? I thought you ran out of fuel in the middle of the ocean. Wait. Please tell me you didn't wreck my jet ski somewhere."
The two were still laughing and panting that they couldn't answer him right away. Finally, Natasha started to catch her breath and shook her head. "Hahaha, ha- ha. No, we're okay. We..." she let out one final burst of laughter, "... almost ran out of fuel so we sped back here. It was so fun!"
