Leila's pov
"Grayson's here?" He asked, looking for the truth. I nodded, and took a step back. "But not for good reasons." I said, putting the gun back behind my back.
"Do you want to see him?" My face was stone cold at the thought of Grayson. "What did he do?" He looked at me with sad eyes.
"What didn't he do?" I said, irritated. "Leila, I know what he did. But you have to understand that he's my brother." I furrowed my eyebrows, folding my arms. "What are you talking about? This isn't about you, Ethan! It's about what Grayson did!"
"I was a part of your kidnapping, so yea, this is about me." He just doesn't have a clue.
"He raped me, Ethan. While HE kidnapped me, and you were somewhere probably with your 'girlfriend'. I was used for him. I was a virgin Ethan! And he just took it away!" He looked down, understanding what I was talking about. "So when you go to look at him, know that he deserved it and I plan to do more than what he has now." With that, I started walking towards where Grayson was.
"I'm sorry." I heard behind me. I blew it off, though. Even though he couldn't do anything about what happened, sorry didn't make me happy. Like anything would make me happy. I haven't genuinely smiled from actual happiness in a very long time.
"He's in there." I mumbled, and he went inside, and gasped.
Grayson's pov
"Grayson?" I could barely hear anything from over my heartbeat. I could feel it slowing down every day I'm here. "Ethan?" I mumbled, tears coming to my eyes. I couldn't see him, I couldn't move. My body aches so bad. But I knew it was my brother.
I missed him so much.
With my eyes open as much as I can open them, I saw Ethan with tears in his eyes too. "What happened?" He looked behind him, and I figured it was Leila. He's always on her side.
"Ten lashes to the back, for the number of hours of torture I went through. Two black eyes for the things that I saw. Broken arms so he can't force anyone to do anything. And I was going to chop his dick off before you called." Leila came into view on the other side of me.
"Leila, we need to take him to the hospital! He's going to die!" He yelled at her. "He's not going anywhere! He deserves to die anyways for what he did to me!" She yelled back. I stayed still and didn't move. I couldn't. If only I had some popcorn.
"He's done it before! And so have I!" That made the room silent. It was true. We had to rape someone to gain Scott's trust. It was weird, but it's whatever. "No you haven't. You're not like that. You wouldn't." She stepped back, not realizing the truth.
"I did. But I regret it, and I know that Grayson does too. Don't you gray?" It's been so long since he's said that to me. It made me realize how much I missed being around him. When we first met Scott, we were still happy, playful twins. He always called me gray back then.
Leila looked at me, waiting for an answer. I came to realization that what I've been doing is wrong. And a waste of time. I wasted five years of my life chasing Leila, only to realize now what a waste it was. I deserve what I got.
I nodded to Leila. "I'm sorry. I deserve what I got. Sorry doesn't take away that night, but I hope it helps in any kind of way. I really am sorry." She looked at me full of anger and hurt, remembering that night. I knew sorry wouldn't do anything. She's going to hate me for the rest of her life.
"Leila, please. He needs medical attention." She looked at Ethan, then back to me. "He's not going to the hospital. They'll ask too many questions. I have a doctor here that will help. I'll go get him." Leila walked out of the room, while Ethan stayed by my side.
"I'm sorry." I told him.
"For what?" .is he dumb?
"Oh, I don't know, maybe from putting you in jail for five years?" I said, making him somehow smile. "It's okay. It helped me a lot. I needed to go there anyways." I nodded.
After a few minutes, a doctor and Leila came in. The doctor started to help my injuries, by wrapping my arms into casts, and cleaning the wounds on my back. It hurt like a mother fucking bitch. I screamed every time. Don't tell me I'm a baby because that shit hurts for everyone.
It took about fifteen minutes of rubbing alcohol torture, before she started to put a bandage on my back. "You should stay off your back for awhile. It'll take about six weeks for your arms to be completely healed. Other than that, you're okay." After those words, she walked out. What, no drugs?
I sat up, trying to stretch without my back hurting. Maybe this is how Leila felt when I pushed her down the basement stairs.
"Now what?" I asked looking between Leila and Ethan. "Now, Ethan leaves and goes back to Jersey, you go back to doing whatever besides trying to find me, and I go back to doing what I do." Ethan shook his head, taking a step closer to Leila. "I'm not leaving without you." Wow. I figured he'd say that to me and not Leila.
"Yes, you are. You just got out of prison. Go live your life. There's more to it than old murderers and nasty food." That's the nicest thing I've ever heard her say. Only because I've literally been chasing her and she couldn't talk most of the time.
"That's why I came here, Leila. I spent five years in prison, and I realized that I love you. I always have. Right from the start, you took down my brother by punching him in the stomach. No one has ever done that. Ever since then, I've always had some weird voodoo thing about you. I was always somehow thinking of you. I'm not afraid of admitting that I love you. So I'm not going anywhere without you." This is kinda awkward considering IM RIGHT IN FRONT OF BOTH OF YOU. Ugh.
"Ethan." Leila looked at Ethan with confusion.
"I don't care if you don't love me, all I care about is your safety. I'll say it a million times I'm not leaving your side." After he said that, Leila walked out. Didn't say anything.
"Well That was awkward." I said, looking at Ethan. He turned to me, and flipped me off.
Classic.
