You Won't Float {Pennywise x Reader}

{Chapter Six}

Once you thought you had gotten a safe distance away, you took a break and sat down against the wall. You were breathing heavily, since running in these conditions was harder then it should be. You smiled, knowing that Pennywise would never find you in this maze.

After a small break you got up and started to jog around the tunnels, looking for any possible exit. So when you saw Pennywise waiting for you in a smaller tunnel, sitting in the position above, you freaked out a bit and tried to run off again.

"Aww, sweetie, honey, baby cakes! The game has just began!" Pennywise purred, giggling quietly. "D-Did you just..?" you asked quietly, blushing. Pennywise giggled again and nodded. "Don't you wanna play hide and seek with me? It'll be lots of fun! And if you win, you get to go back home! Doesn't that sound nice?" he asked, standing up to his full height and smiling down at you.

You froze and stared up at him. "You're joking, right?" you asked and took a step back. "I, Pennywise the Dancing Clown, would never, ever joke!" he squeaked, his smile never faltering. "S-So, if I win this game, I really do get to go home? No tricks, or anything like that?" you asked hesitantly, taking another step back. "Of course, my sweet cake!" Pennywise assured, nodding his head and clapping.

"Now go on! Hide! Run!" he shoved you a bit to get you going. You ran off as fast as possible, not looking back. You knew that if you lost, going home was beyond impossible. Finding an exit was crucial now, hiding wasn't an option. If you escaped and told Barney and Dad, maybe, just maybe, you would have a chance at getting rid of this clown.

You eventually came across a large sewer grate that led to the outside. You sighed happily and started to climb out, only to come face to face with Barney. "(Y/N)! We've been looking for you for hours!" he exclaimed and helped you out of the sewers.

"Where were you?! Why were you in there?!" he asked, shaking you. "I...I was kidnapped..." you said quietly, tears running down your face as you hugged Barney. "Ew, you stink." he joked and hugged you back, smiling.

Both of you started to go home. On the way, you told Barney the whole story. He didn't seem to believe you but listened anyway, knowing you were scared and probably scarred for life.

Once you got home, Dad ran up to you and hugged you tightly. "(Y/N)! What happened to you?" he asked as he examine you. "She doesn't want to talk much about it.." Barney whispered to him. Dad nodded and told you to take a shower and get dressed. You gladly went to your room and got your clothes, running into the bathroom.

You felt relieved that you had out smarted Pennywise and had made it back home. Of course, it was a very stupid thing to think, since you had thought he was just imaginary as well.

After you shower, you dried off and put on a warm, white sweater and some black leggings. You put your hair up in a pony tail and went into the living room, seeing that Barney was sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn.

"Hey sis...hope you're feeling better.." he mumbled, glancing over at you with a worried expression. You just shrugged then went off to your room. After the past two days, you needed a nice long night of sleep.

You laid down in your bed and sighed, turning onto your side. Before you closed your eyes you heard something like a music box very, very close to you. You turned your head to see Pennywise kneeling next to your bed.

"Heya sweet cake!" he said excitedly, clapping his hands. "Looks like you won our little game!" He stared at you with his beautiful bright blue eyes, smiling sweetly. His expression changed as he leaned closer to you. His eyes changed from blue to orange as he glared at you harshly.

"But you cheated."
